Resident Evil Gelblasters...( or, Gotta Getta Beretta..!)

I had to coerce, threaten, have a in store meltdown, swear, cry, swear at them again, then assemble it in front of them…

One of those personalities resonated with them…so they sold me a replica firearm…

The one thing i didn’t do, was smile…!!

Who knows…??

Oh my God… wankers.

actually, it wasn’t all that bad.
I rang them up beforehand, settled the price, and said i’d take it.

They said " we had a guy come in this morning and dissasemble it, where waiting for our gelblaster guy to come in"

I said “he was looking at it for me, he’s a highly skilled tech as you’ll find anywhere, and you took it back before he could put it back together.”

Silence…“oh…ok, come on in then…”

Put it back together, and that was that…

Twenty characters

Grips sorted and fitted.

Due to the lower wraparound grips, i had to angle grind the lanyard loop off.

No big loss, the lower part of the grips cover it all up.

Ive decided im going to leave it as is…
Too much work, to grind it all down to bare metal.
Its a funny white /silver look, but its different…

Its growing on me.

Not any official RE model, just a knock up jobby.

Mag sorted and not leaking, nice and tight, performs well and kicks hard.

Might give it some silver screws…lucky i found that box of em…!

Where do you get the green gas mags for these.?? Will improve longevity if its not smacking around so hard.

I know the DB 1911 mags were compatible with the Well 1911 GBBs. Have you compared one of your DB Taurus mags to the Nwell Co2 mag to see if they’re similar? You never know…

If you can’t get green gas mags to suit it the best way to increase the longevity of a Nwell Co2 GBB is to not pull the trigger. :joy:

Mines been through a box of 50 CO2 cartridges and still going strong. Was one of the early ihobby ones with the leaking valve that they fixed with a replacement.

Ah, doesn’t matter… it still looks very cool. :+1:

Amazing how much difference mixing and matching colours makes to an otherwise quiet boring pistol.

"WESKER, By a Wisker…( Or… you can stand under my Umbrella, brella, eh-eh-eh)

Hot off the press, here is the latest addition to AH.
These are in very short supply, only brought in 12, a few remaining.
Get in quick, if you want one…

Nice n shiny collectors box, it includes blaster, mag, serial number stickers, and a “Umbrella owners manual/ propaganda book.”

Here’s the book, for anyone interested…

Its mostly in Japanese, so i cant read what it says…
Probably something like, " weyland utani…building better worlds…"

Whoops, wrong franchise…

The blaster itself, is TM stock, and similar to the Samurai edge.
All Nylon, its light yet strong, and AH wont warranty it for green gas…

But, it should be fine. A/soft ones handle it fine.

The insignia is all metal, and so quite durable.
Same mag as the Samurai edge.

Its a nice little looker, i believe its the same frame / base model for the extended supp version.

That version, has a silver frame, but with everything off, this should be it.
I wonder… can we get a new silver frame, as parts.?
And, the Supp / L nozzle as well…??
Hmmm…

Close up shots…

Its a nice little unit, the noise on cycling is a little lower, being Nylon.

I had mine doing a consistent 270 fps on green gas, using the 2:10 green summer cats, so its as advertised.

Apparently, this, and the standard samurai edge, are the only models TM are making going forward. That places the (long sold out ) wesker supp model, as a rare collectors piece.

WE Tech will still make the stndard models, and burton models though.

Speaking of burtons, Brad said he is going to import Burton parts as a kit, to fit on the standard model.

Like i said before, i swear, retailers must watch what we do, gauge interest, then import the same stuff for the masses…

Anyway, here is a shot of the wesker triplets…

Someone had to go to gympie, to get poor cousin jethro wesker out, for the family photo…!!

All in all, $500 is a decent enough price point for what it is, collectors will snap these up quite quickly.

Also…
Brad will be selling some RE stands.

Wooden base, emblased with either STARS or UMbrella corp, and a plastic support mag.

Take your mag out, plop it on the support mag, and its a funky lil display piece…
They look good, i should have taken photos…

Take a photo and Google translate it…

Why didn’t you order 50 instead of buying all twelve at once

This is my sliver full metal WE Resident Evil Gel blaster. Tactical Edge Hobbies sold them a few years ago

Very Nice…!

WeTech make good gear… My genuine mags still dont leak.

I got a silver one, and a black one (2nd hand) when they were around.
I still have the silver one.
The black one got transformed into the Burton Blaster.

Its pretty cool, they can do full auto ( but not advisable).
Your grips look to be in good condition… did you coat the gold emblem.?

Also…if you ever want to sell it…let me know…

I already have got a spare , engraved, Black WeTech RE Stars upper slide…

Proper GBB, Wesker silencer model…

Tac edge were talking of bringing more in, they still make them.
They may have seen the demand for Brads, and decide to make it happen…

Not my cup of tea (I want the luger), but surely the WE Tech STARS would be the way to go:
