The current one is running really smooth, it is better than any previous batches. We have planned the first and second batches. For the third batches onward, I am leaning to set up some poll. You choose what to come.
A poll? Awesome⌠thatâs a first.
A gel blaster retailer actually asking the marketplace for feedback on what they want instead of pushing the same old stock. Colour me impressed.
You have a great business model @AKgelblaster
Should be making some of our local sellers sit up and take notice.
Better not ask BME though⌠youâll need to get bigger containers.
you mean this one
Yes Bart, but I want the historical version (p08), not the Jyn Erso Star Wars fantasy version.
You could always grab one of those, remove the StarWars kit and replace the front sight to get an anatomically correct luger.
Big outlay though.
so do I , WE Tech made airsoft P08 and P38 but for gel blaster Tactical Edge Hobbies is the sole importer/agent of the brand in Australia, Tac Edge donât ask them to build it , we wonât get it. Tac Edge have good partner WE Tech on hand but they donât explore their EDGE. The only decent choice is the Demix Luger P08 but it is a non-firing replica ,
They have already evaluated the P08 and the magazine canât be modified for gels. The prototype was down at x-Force for a while
This is the naked AW StarWars blaster, stripped down to the bare Luger underneathâŚ
Wooden grips are from sixmmâŚfor the WEtech version. Just Arrived.
They dont fit standard, would need a bit of work to get em on.
All retained by the one screw at the bottom, which doesnât quite line up properly.
It only has so much meat, to work with,
The chequred wood grips on the denix, are the bestâŚ
Here is the (tiny) mag displayed.
The 7.2 ish mm gel, wont fit through the 4.5mm bb openingâŚand the mag channel is also not wide enough to accomodate gels.
Hence, youâll not get a gel version, unless its electric or manual.
Even the airsoft ones (4.5mm) were unreliable, and anaemic performers.
So, its a expensive clickerâŚbut does correctly toggle cycle.
And, its a Luger⌠one of our limited choices availableâŚ
Good stuff BME, just a shame about the missing front sight and the holes in the upper (left and right). But certainly the most accurate rendition of the Luger.
You could even get another AW barrel from HK, and change it over to a shorter barrel jobby.
I thought about it, but canât seem to find where to buy the shorter barrels fromâŚ
You wonât agree BME, but I think the brown plastic WE grips would actually look nicer.
Couple this with the silver WE Luger mag, and you really have something.
Great shame. Funny because the mag channel almost looks like it would accept them, if the hole were bored out larger. But Iâm sure others wiser than me know.
Yeah, the chequered wood grips look better, than plain wood.
I might get a set of plastic grips, and see if they can fit.
Some material will need to be removed, and plastic is easier to remove than woodâŚplus the chequered finish.
You havenât seen any sites , selling shorter AW barrels, have you.?
The WE brown plastic grips will fit BME, because theyâre made by WE for WE Lugers (including your AW). WE also uses the brown grips on their gold lugers.
The 4" army barrel? Good question.
If they donât, we can make 'em fitâŚ
You hold him down and Iâll drive the screws home.
