I snagged a black Mac 10 vs from viper tac a month or so ago on special for $100, had issues right out of the box, emailed them about it, got a fairly quick response and was told to send it back or bring it it for them to check, took it in in person and the guy who served me identifed the problem, exchanged for me and renewed the warranty and everything was good as gold, walked away happy with the customer service and the Mac 10
Did they strip the pink off Definitely a problem.
nah nah nah lol it was black through and through
you may want to check out this thread on mac-10’s…
Shows some of the mods that can be done, if you like john carpenter 80’s movies…!!
mine didn’t even come in a box like that, just plain brown, but cheers I’ll check it out.
I did see mental gears and a few other things on a site I was looking at parts on, definitely something to think about
Well that made my shit day better and laugh.
whoops must just be my mental state today which is completely .
I of course meant metal gears, stupid phones auto predictive text gets me all the time, usually it makes me sound Asian, no offence, just meaning like I have a language barrier
I know, just stirring you up all good mate Not the only one with that auto predictive caught me out today and I dare not repeat it
ooops
Throwing as a update if its ever done: tactoys has been wond up by the gov for unpaid taxes it seems as seen from here onwards Closed Down (Retailers) Updated - #212 by Wombat
Cheers for the information mate, but we have another thread here somewhere that’s been following the demise of TaccyToys over the past few years, so is great that you have shared this information here
Hopefully there’s not been too many new hobby enthusiasts that have been ripped off by TaccyToys leading up to their collapse, and only hope that these people are able to get in touch with the good people in this hobby to help them find
Yea thats the one i linked to, threw the info here aswell incase peeps dont see that one.
anyone ever ordered from Eagle Airsoft And Hobby and if so, what was your purchase experience like? how did it go?
Never heard of them, probably be a bit iffy trying to order anything with them also selling Airsoft stuff so might get flagged just by the store alone.
They also don’t have a lot of stock of anything by the looks and prices aren’t any better than local if not more expensive.
All just observational thou.
SixMM in HK are worth a look.
Airsoft supplier, but I’ve had no problems getting a fair few parts in from them. Handguards, buttstocks, muzzle devices, etc.
hmm. that’s where I’m trying to get the bing feng m203 grenade launcher from as it’s the only place I could find that had one in stock.
oh well, if worse comes to worse it’s safeguarded my the payment method so should be able to get a refund if I don’t get it.
cheers guys
Never heard of eagle airsoft, but that doesn’t mean much as I don’t look at many airsoft sites, get to jealous of the variety!
Parts I ordered from Sixmm have always arrived, but they take ages to send them, and then it takes ages to arrive. My record is just over 3 months, best I had was about 5 weeks.
So update on my bing Feng m203 grenade launcher, it’s apparently in the shipping phase now after three unanswered emails they finally messaged back simply sending me this
No tracking number has been provided, and it doesn’t even say it’s shipped, it just says shipping which most likely means preparing to ship, not sent.
Says will take 12-20 business days to be received. I would assume that would be from when the tracking number is provided. Address removed for privacy
@RokSolid you’re not wrong about places like this dicking around taking their time to send, bit of a joke how long it’s taking to be sent, hopefully it’s not a scam and I do receive it but if worst comes to worse it will be covered by my payment method.
But f#ck me, I just want my launcher already
Yeah this sux when first using a company that have never purchased from before, as there’s SO many scam artist drop shippers out there making money from false advertising and having no set legal recourse to trying to get your product or money back.
It’s always a breath holding experience watching whether you have invested your money in a legitimate supplier or instead seeing immediate Red Flags in how their sales/shipping activities actually function.
I wish you all the best and can only say don’t give up hope just yet, as I’ve experienced this same sort of behaviour before and yet still never got let down with my purchases.
I’m still shitting myself at the moment where one of my online purchases has been “sent”, yet they don’t offer Tracking on any of their products.
Will wait and see, but that’s why I always research the Reviews left from customers about ANY supplier, to check the dates and validity of actual deliveries of their products to their customers.
They might not offer tracking or any information whatsoever about your items, but when there’s 100 people in just the last 4 weeks leaving reviews from countries all over the world thanking them for their shipping and receiving those products exactly as described…I tend to run with that for my own peace of mind.
Welcome to international purchases.
Good that it’s air freight as China does weekly runs of stuff to Australia. If the plane is full of DocBobs RC gear it’ll have to wait for the next one.
I have one that went on the boat from China ordered end of Febuary, gone over time for delivery so Alix sent me a $1 coupon Purchased from reputable store INJORA.
I bought some other stuff from INJORA after and that went by air freight and is already here.
It depends a lot what freight is available to the seller at the time. But also there are drop bears out there to fk your day up.
Then depending what postal company they hand off to once it hits Pray it’s Auspost as all the rest are dog shit and owned by Arabs in the desert.
PS will take 24hrs for any tracking data to show and it may take longer if the seller has not dropped the item off with the postal company.
Yeah always a gamble ordering from overseas. Most of the time it pays off eventually… I’ve had parts take months to arrive many times. Some never arrive. And I have a short list of some that arrive quite fast- T238 arrives under 2 weeks pretty reliably.
Sixmm for one, sometimes I have to order from them, and it is a gamble. Some orders take a month, some take several. And one took nearly 6 months, many chat window complaints, and a reverse credit card charge to get my money back and never see the item.
They have a nasty habit of selling things they do not actually have, relying on supply chain with little idea or no idea of ETA on parts… this is an infuriating practice.
Again they are a last resort but sometimes they have what I need, and you just have to wait and see.
