There used to be a few reasonably good 3D printed kits available online… thought about grabbing one a while back, but never got around to it.

Methinks those $120 MP5s would be nylon geared… shred city very quickly. Still, cheap enough make it worth throwing metal gears at it.

Sooooooo, I ended up getting my mitts on that MP5, figured I only had 1 SMG so might as well get another, funnily enough it’s an MP7 so it’s getting a cousin. 
Pretty sure that’s the nylon geared one, wouldn’t be the 2nd WI box with stripped gears I’ve worked on.
