This is a quick double take, on the LeHui MCX, and the E&C compact.
Having said that, Brad has already done a video review, so if you’ve seen that, this is old news.
Im pretty knackered so just a brief touch on the LH for now…
Performance was from ihobby blues…circa 280 fps, and good accuracy / spread at that FPS.
Mag prime works, stock extends / retracts well.
It does double feed on semi, though, and can have a slight overrun on full auto.
What causes that, and what is the fix.??
All in all , typical nylon, nice and light, it gives off terminator police station vibes…
For this level, a spring / oring upgrade would be about it,
I’ll pull it apart later ( simple is more my level) , and try a M95.
Its good good accuracy, so i dont want to bump the fps up too much…
Might not be the source of the problem, but some blasters will double feed on the higher voltage and play nice on the lower.
You could always try the old detent in the t piece trick. Running a drill up the feedtube part of the t piece to create a detent hole in the breech often stops the loaded gel from occupying space in the t piece that allows multiple chambering of gels.
Oh yea, I had another headset flat operator on the line this morning. I was not happy jan. 5m job took 3hrs to sort out after they realised they fkd up. Lucky I’m switched on and caught it and pulled them up on it.
Now a friend has arrived and I think I’ll have a couple beers with him and unwind. Spooling down.
I got an LDT MCX this week. Very nice unit, but would want to be for the RRP price!
And no… I didn’t pay that, got it second hand in good condition with a spare mag, external battery pouch thingy, sig Romeo sight and bifrost tracer thingy. Oh and a folding buffer tube adaptor.
It’s also the ldx advance 2.0 with mosfet and tappetless version.
Still wasn’t cheap but less than a third the price off all that new, and everything is decent condition and working. Glad I snapped it up.
It’s very nice. Shoots and average of 290fps, and sounds well shimmed. I will not be using it, purely a collection thing but it is good it works.
Glad to get hold of one, even if I’ll not ever use it it’s a fantastic addition to the collection.
MCX does look cool… but the bad kind of ugly imo. Just not my favourite lol.
It does feel awesome in use though so a function over form thing I guess.
Yep, that’s an ugly blaster alright. Normally I like ugly…
… not so much in this case.
BTW, if that black paint flakes off from heat you could always visit Jaycar and get some black heatshrink to go over that battery. Might hang in there though, you never know.
What does it weigh? I’ve never set paws on one. Front handguard looks like a cheese grater and overkill but as much as it looks good to me I’d likely not like all that overkill methinks.
Nice job on the blacked out wiring, looks much better.
