The CYMA work horses

Stock standard full metal Wells CQB M4
With Ace Tech bifrost

Need to start looking for more attachments and possible upgrade options in the future

Always thought the Wells CQBs were particularly good looking units. :+1:

Actually thinking about getting another one just for the shell and doing a gearbox transplant.

Also, check the OP… it’s been editted to keep it in line with the M4 config as it is now.

I always swore on them. It’s M4 and the best Nylon, or metal platform for cheap at the time. Yes there are better built ones available today.

Lot’s of complaints about cracked gearboxes and all sorts of problems. Mines been fine and I get god tier on game day. Oh mines jammed and broken, I want to borrow yours.  :+1:

We like short shorts.

Turns out i have a few shorties, too…

Couple of AK’s snuck in…

Red tip.?!.?! Quick…grab the 50 shades of…!!

Better put the ADD, in ADDiction…!!

Silver edge gearbox, in there as well…!!
:scream: :scream: :scream:

The old ARP9!
Had the Little Moon and XYL versions of these models that were quite Spanky at the time! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yep…
I gave one away, a while back…

Good, cheap little nylon performers.

220 fps, quiet and accurate…good gear.!

Yikes…!!
The new ones are expensive…!!

$430.00 !!!

I was impressed with the solid build quality of the XYL, having 2 different versions, both the original release and the updated “blue” cylinder head version.

Never got to open them up or tinker with them though, as they had just hit the market when the talks about Bans were first hitting the News.

Basically only used for a couple of mags worth reviewing and testing and got rid of them shortly after still like brand new in their boxes.

I’d be tempted to leave them as is…

Small, quiet, accurate, reliable…for CQB you dont need big numbers…

Whaddaya know…?
Turns out mine is a bluey…!

Much quieter than those slapping, rattling WELLs CQB & PDW9 models I tested! :ok_hand:

Shorty’s got some pop…!!
been awhile since i used the ARP-9…gave it a go…

Pretty good for a stubby lil unit…i thought it was about 220 fps…

Also a bit louder than i remember…!!

I remember fixing up this shorty, as well…

O-ring let go… new oring and a M100…

290 fps is pretty good, for a shorty…

Is an M100 too much for the dreaded silveredge box.??

Maybe a M95, just to back it off, for longevity…

Speaking of shorty m4… a wells honey badger.
The suppressor is removable to make it shorter but does look right with it on.

A bitsa project that’s been going on for a while, waiting for paint to arrive to finish it off. Currently has MK V2M gearbox, T238 quality mosfet, 31k Solink brushless motor, 13:1 gears missing 3 teeth and an m110 spring. Has a few new parts I am testing before putting them up for sale too but I’ll hold out on that.
Doing 330fps 31rps this thing is a beast

Will get a rattlecan Camo job once paint arrives.

Also… something different.

Xyl arp556. Only got one in… can’t bring myself to use it or sell it! Plenty were made but it’s the only one in Australia! Very xyl performance. Would love to give it the Nobody treatment but this one is staying original in its box for now.

Pull the trigger…!!
Do it…!!

It may need a ‘warranty repair’…!!

Only one way to find out…!!

side note…do you recommend a M100 in that silveredge box.?
Will it handle it.?

It will at least for a time, who knows how long.
Aoe padding and radiusing, with good cylinder to barrel ratio all helps too. I don’t get many aps on my bench as many broke over the years and got an aztech scythe gearbox in them, and they are bulletproof.

Both look amazing, Rok. :+1:

That ARP in particular… just looks horn in 556.
