That top one’s a TF200, came out in '88… and yeah, everybody got 'em. Dual mount on the wall or desktop.

The end lug, on the recoil guide rod, from the “hitman compensator” broke after cycling it a few times… :pensive: :pensive:

Took some photos of the broken rod, and the original one.
The new rod had a much smaller lug, which is why it broke…

Broken one, on top. Im asking for a replacement rod.
Lets see, how GBU handles this process…

did you eat the broken bits?

The zombies did.
Resident evil style…

They need more iron, in their diet…:grinning:

Now, they are waiting for a ‘Jill Sandwich’…

I was thinking that when I posted  But I was curios, so 88, that is about what I remember. Jeez only seems like yesterday…

Friend was the AWA GM for China and his job was to sell pallet loads of T200’s. Unfortunately his market went away on 4th June 1989

Ok, bit of an update.

Concerning the B.Burton, after a conversation with QLD police, i sent them an email.
I spoke to someone higher up / knowledgeable about gels, explained i only wanted to import parts etc, and he said put it in an email. I did so.

The response was as i expected, no B709’s required for parts/ accessories, but at the discretion of Border force.

I had hoped to get a B709, as that appears on the systems with border force (same as the badger furniture kit), and would have increased the likelihood of it clearing.

At least i have that email for my record.

Anyway, im going to attempt to bring in some burton parts.

I’ll start with Evike, they post to OZ, and sell the “vanilla Stars Grips”.
I’ll try for two sets in the one order, and see how i go.

Then , try the asian suppliers, for rail / moderator etc…
Lets see how i go… all legal of course…

You love rollin’ that dice, man

Hitman kit sent back to gbu, awaiting replacement.

In the meantime, i dremeled out the hop up.
Quite a large offset, the top is now quite thin.

Just a quick , loose fit up, there is a gap between the lower receiver, and the hop-up.
I think retention will be difficult under cycling, two grubscrews wont hold it on. The hitman doesn’t move when its attached properly.

Not a bad look, but i think the hitman will look a bit better.
I will need to fill in the gap between the bottom of the moderator, and the rail.

Maybe even drill some side holes, through the moderator…

What do you guys think.??

2 x standard STARS grips ordered, via EVIKE…

The postage costs more than the grips…!! expedited intl shipping only…!

Lets see how it goes…
Fingers crossed…

That’s a very cool looking Beretta 92, gotta say… :+1:

I guess the security of the attachment is moot if you’re doing it up as a display piece, but I strongly suspect you’re like me… chewie and spit might look okay but if it’s not functional and useable you start looking for a more solid plan B…

Hopefully BF will be kind to you and your Evike order will get through with no issues… and I’m not referring to Bing Feng there. :joy:

Either way, nice to see you doing something different with that Taurus.

Just curious, looks wise, whats your preference.?

Hop-up, or Hitman.?

I must admit, the hitman is growing on me.

If i had a press drill, i could drill some holes through the side, to match the vents at the top. Maybe drill 2 or 3 vertically stacked holes, then file them out , to make a single vertical groove, then do a few more grooves…

I’m just going for grips to start with. I placed the order, and got an email back, saying they need a copy of the import permit, before they will send.
I forwarded them the email from QLD police, saying a import permit is not required for accessories.

Thats why i got the email…

Lets see if they accept that, and send it.

Hurdle number 1 …

Good luck with the grips, should be alright if people that enforce the regs can actually understand them

Liking the Hitman better if I could trim the barrel extension off the end and do something with the rail gap. Almost getting Auto 9 like  That’s another you have to make :+1:

oOOoo look what I found RoboCop [1987] Inspired Auto 9 - KIT – TraywickDesigns

The barrel extension does unscrew.

For the gap between the rail / moderator, i was thinking of trimming a piece of wood to size.

Even putting a taper on the front end. Then paint it matte black.

Then, screw through rail / wood / into blaster.

Dont get me thinking about Auto-9’s…!!!

My ptefetence is the Hitman. :+1:

Worth any tweaks you might need to make to get it sittin’ pretty.

Ok.
I figured out, the easiest way to get a proper fitting silver barrel (plus extra mag and spares)was to get a silver DB M92. CEH have them on sale, for $220 including postage. ( No speeding tickets and tolls!!)

It arrived, and i did the barrel swap…

The other barrel swap, made a bit of a weird franken-blaster…
Grown up version, of little kimber jr…

Here it is, with the original black plastic grips

The black plastic looks crap, so i fitted the timber M92 grips. These are a little shorter than the original grips, and lack the “wrap around at the rear” tabs…

Makes it look a lot better…

Comparo , with WE tech STARS…

All in all, i feel the DB would look better, with all silver switches.
The black levers and knobs ‘sorta’ work, with the black barrel, to make it a funky custom blaster.

But, i have a whole set of spares, and the black beretta is now VERY close to the WE tech RE stars. For me, worth getting for $220, from CEH…
