Grip update pic.
The ‘decking oil’ grips, have had 3 coats of oil, and 2 days of good sun for drying. Here are the full sunlight pics.
The grip currently on the pistol is wood oil, decking oil grips on the deck…
Same decking oil as used on deck, different results…
Obviously, all about the colour of the timber…reddish timber was used on the deck…
I’d like some grips that look like that…!!
But, all in all, not too bad.
A bit lighter coloured, but it would go well with a black pistol, for some contrast…

That is awesome. Very close to what I had with the blondie grips.

Being oil based, it’ll last forever, too.
And, gives the grips a ‘wet look’
The wood oiled grips are a similar colour to the deck, but they end up dry…

Same Same, but different…
Taurus dressed up, another way…
Another @maiphut moment…!!
It would look great, with RE grips on it…
I reckon the grips could be , just a little darker…

The hitman, came back looking perfect.
Well done, to @Friendly_Fire … excellent job.
Hopefully i’ll get more RE grips in, until then , the deck oil grips are a good fit, on a black blaster…
The RE grips, can stay on the silver one for awhile…
(photo at a bit of an angle, thats why its squashed a bit laterally).

I’m even thinking a SKD hop up, trimmed back, could fill in the space, forward of the muzzle, and give it a bit more length…
And a hitman recoil guide, could run forward into the suppressor, and help support its weight…
I don’t know how you’re going to go finding an adaptor for it though, BME…
I managed to get the ones I picked up this morning to screw into the DB G17 barrel okay, but no way it’ll screw into the Taurus.
Think I’m going to need to get the thread pitch guages out and measure what that thread is… it seems to be completely different to the Glock thread, smaller diameter. Which is a good thing, because it means it can be tapped out bigger. If I can find the right size CCW tap.
Good idea about the Hitman recoil rod into the suppressor for support… and the trimmed hop up to hide it. That’s using the ol’ noggin.

When you buy a DB beretta, they come with a screw on orange tip.
I may have one lying around.
Screw that in, that provides an extending part, you can grubscrew or adhere to.
It gets covered with a cut back moderator, so…

From this…
Cut the moderator back, from the first groove. That extends the muzzle a bit.
Assemble into suppressor, like so…
Not super tidy, but better than naked…
Clean side on shot of the wesker…
Not sure if the one above is airsoft, or someone’s real build…

The one above, is silver receiver / silver barrel / black slide.
This is its inverse parts opposite…
Black receiver / black barrel / silver slide…
And, with STARS grips…
Finished yet, Maiphut…??
I thin thats about all, the barrel / reciever / slide combos available…

Like the dance of the seven veils…you gotta unveil it slowly…!!
I reckon the grips really make it.
Hopefully, a dealer will bring in a bunch of the RE grips.
If they cant bring in genuine RE models, they would sell a bunch of DB’s.
Particularly if you can mix and match, and DB’s being cheaper.
I hope someone shows this to Peter Clark, of Tac-Edge.
Bringing in a couple hundred grips would be a piece of cake…
Those STARS grips look horn with any colour combo.
