I tried swapping the barrel over, its not really worth it,
2 reasons…
1- the plastic barrel is a very snug fit.
The metal barrel was loose…i wrapped one roll of masking tape around it, to firm it up.
Even with the 3cm longer barrel…no real difference to fps.
2-the outer barrel has a restrictor, 2-3 cm short of the muzzle. Its designed to have the plastic barrel snug against it ( plastic barrel was cut to size), and hold it steady. The longer metal barrel doesn’t pass through it.
As i said, in my firing tests, outer barrel off, it made no real difference…
I was able to wrap one layer of masking tape around the plastic barrel…it just pushed in…accumulated around the t-piece…maybe it will help with air-seal…
A bit of weathering, and done for the evening…
I’ll let the resin dry overnight, clean the excess up, repaint and lighlt weather the mag 2morrow…

All in all, the TEC-9 is a good little budget blaster…
Affordable, pistol performance, decent magazine size, and a unusual model…
Just bring on the metal GBB version…!!
And, a plethora of uzi’s …!!!
(though they would have to be good, to beat the quality of what i have…thanks FF!)
