Kinda feel sorry for her tbh, there’s so many factors at play in a situation like that. Even one of them being I read from a former agent saying with the high power scopes they have on their AI 300 win mag’s they were looking in the sector Crook was in but looking too far out which you can see him look up and dial the mag back on the scope(which widens your field of view) then turn his head in to mash as they may have not comm the close range he was. Lots of variables at play.

Far out and the US secret service put out a tender for a new sniper rifle to replace the AI MK7 300WM on July 18 to be Multi calibre easy swap between 300WM, 300 Norma Mag, 300PRC and .308 Win with a trigger pull of no less than 2.0lbs and no more than 3.0lbs with no creep and percievable overtravel. Obviously there was a problem there with the in service AI which are $20k rifles and are supposed to be the best. But oh well just blame your tools instead of your incompetence.

Damn, man… what a grilling Cheatle got. 
bloody rivetting stuff, totally engrossing and considering the length of it highly watchable. Really inconclusive though, Cheatle naturally was super evasive and very considered in her answers.
Something tells me that coverage of the Senate Oversight Commitee inquiry isn’t going to do much to stop the conspiracy theories. 
While the senate commitee was bi-partisan, they weren’t quite bi-partisan enough to not have Trump’s golden moment photo in the background during Comer’s closing statement.

Especially with Cheatle’s non answer of questions and more facts can be found from reliable outside sources like I did earlier with the new sniper rifles tender put out immediately after which tells me the sniper had a bit of a problem with the weapon causing a delay in taking Crook out. Could be a conspiracy theory but I’d imagine that would be the AAR.
The Accuracy International MK7 deriative the USSS use is supposed to be the best in the world which they already use but they are seeking specific trigger pull dynamics and a range of 4 high powered 30cals. Weird with the calibers as that introduces 4 different variables that will require more training time. Or maybe it is so the operator can choose one of four they prefer and stick with it. Who fkn knows. The only likely candidate is the Army’s new MK22 Barret which comes in most of those calibers.
Apparently there is also a high turnover of USSS operators with around 8000 total they rotate around half left and new recruits since 2022.
Agreed, for a nearly five hour coverage of democrats and republicans basically talking shit, it was fascinating stuff and pretty entertaining.
I thought it was interesting that one of the congressmen asked her the direct question about the possibility of more than one shooter… and it was mentioned that some witnesses said they heard shots from the adjacent water tower. Curious to see if that line of inquiry reveals anything.
Either way, looks like she’s out of a job. The funniest moment was when one of them commented that Washington was the only place in the world where you can be completey incompetent at your job and still get a promotion.
