Yes saw that part and the overwatch secret service had a blindspot they had to adjust as there was a tree blocking their line of sight. A lot of factors at play. Miscomm between the personal protection detail for Trump and the security service and the local PD. Oh well lessons learned and they are improving it or working on it.
The shooter if you look at the shot detail did not have a centre head shot he was already off to the side and that was because he did not account for the wind that day which there was a 5mph crosswind from what I read which will drift a 556/223 projectile and then the turning of his noggin was just enough. Very close and the shooter under pressure with a local PD officer and some of the crowd calling him out as they could see the shooter he rushed the shot.
