The Shit Pit

AI and government attempts to censor the free flow of information worries me more than Trump.

Totally agree, especially the AI part.

Now for some good news back in home territory -

Hope to see more of this.

…and now they need to get rid of the department working on treaties and stop the welcome to country diatribe.

Some cuts from a Courier Mail article today -

Yea the media is just a waste of time these days. Only some trust worthy places to get info from.

I can burn a gumtree for free :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

:joy:

Looks like a pcp air rifle.
Quiet.
Accurate.
Effective.

I’d cull around Brisbane airport, as a 2nd job, if the bleeding hearts and greenies would allow it…

They’d have a swoon, faint, have a heart attack….and then go home and have a chicken dinner…

Bloody hell are SAPOL dumb or what, don’t tell Karenville Brighton and let a dood go for it  fk me

dboys

Hope they got 1000’s of Karen Kalls and learnt their lesson.

One of my shooting buddies is a licensed pest exterminator, and he is constantly facing these same issues with the public that surround the areas where he’s contracted to operate.

He owns several different weapons so he can be as stealth as possible to get the job done, but there’s always the risk of some Karen hearing/spotting him and having the boys in blue turn up and putting him through the wringer

The local Police are notified for each job as part of the contract, but that doesn’t mean that the message gets passed onto the centralised 000 call centres.

He’s never had any real issues with the Police that do turn up on these occasions, as he’s obviously got all of the required documents and permissions, and has only taken a quick call from the attending Police to the local Police to clear the air.

Either way, every job has him on edge and constantly waiting for some bullshit to develop no matter that he’s fully legal and fulfilled all of the requirements under his contracts.

You can imagine that he’s told me hundreds of different stories over a beer or three over the years, but it certainly doesn’t make his job any easier or less stressful

This is one for the @admins
Just wondering, what is the “membership” of the forum…ie how many accounts…

Also, what’s the daily traffic/ views like…?

I know it’s accessible, for browsing , all over the world, and I’m curious how many people see it, view it on average , per day…?

is it just me or did the first firearm look like a blaster?

Definitely a Gelbaster.
The Pistol was the real deal, which is pretty scary when seeing a Revolver is more likely to be had as an illegal firearm than that “Automatic Rifle” :astonished:

The missus just signed off on a job with the ADF. Working in a contact centre in Southbank that handles recruitment, changes to billeting, etc. :+1:

I asked her to check if she qualifies for staff discount on surplus Austeyr EF88s… or maybe a low klm Bushmaster.

She said she didn’t want to do that… where’s the love?

One of the perks I had at predecessors to ADI were the toys in my office - L1A1, F1, Owen, Ruger and various things that went kerr-thump

dwam on the price tag, but looks nice
