Just looked into the legal requirements in Victoria and spoke to one of the approved collectors organisations about getting Denix replicas in Victoria and the process is a lot easier than I thought. According to them if I meet the legal requirements to join there club, pay my membership fees and have two valid legal references then I’m automatically given a governer in council exemption which makes me valid to own denix replicas 28 days after I’ve been an approved member of the club. I looked into some of the denix replicas and the photos of them make them look like fairly well made replicas but I haven’t had a chance to handle any in person.

Talk to BME if you’re into Denix replicas…

Believe he has quite a few and is fairly knowledgeable on them. :+1:

Ah, squidy, squidy, squidy…

How the worm turns…( or, is it tentacle.??)

I can remember not too long ago, you were hanging shit on Denix’s, but now they are within your reach…

Two legal letters of reference, hey…??
vladamir putin, and Xi Jinping dont count…
Shall i write to the commisioner, and tell him of your previous CCP spying exploits…??!

Anyway, say goodbye to your house deposit, and hello to your new obsession / collection… death by denix…

PPSH-41, grease guns, AK47’s, sten guns, thommies, they are all there…
Real wood construction, and metal, they look and feel like the real thing…

Also, i remember seeing metal replica M-60’s somewhere…

You’ll be working for free, for the next 2 years…!!!

Your welcome…!!

I posted a couple of pics of the Denix Thompson that my mate has here @Deadsquid that you might not have seen, so I’ll put them up here for ya :+1:

Yeah I swear I saw an m60 somewhere but can’t find it anymore but definitely a damaging hobby to get into on apprentice wages. Do you own many of the handguns because the p38’s, 1911’s and colt revolvers are definitely some replicas I’m looking at.

I’ve had a Denix Colt 1911 Government Model pistol in the past… probably one of the nicer Denix offerings. :+1: but then there’s not a lot of detail on it.

Also had a Denix .357 Python, 8" barrel… also nice.

And a Colt 45 Peacemaker… :+1:

There you go…

so, denix collection…

Is there no notch for working slide lock on the p38’s. Also broom handle looks pretty hot but needs a stock

Ive got to take some photos, of the luger as well…

The denix’s are ok, for what they are.
Details are a little muted, you dont have full functionality of all switches etc, but if you live in the cursed state…

the chrome is not the best, and shows as ‘painted chrome’.

The wood/dark blueing combo looks better, and more authentic as being aged.

With the P-38, the mag doesnt remove, but the slide racks.

The 1911 is not a denix, but a late 80’s japanese replica, which is fully field strip-able.
The luger has a working toggle action.

I did see a resin m60 for sale in OZ, some time back, which i posted.
Dunno where it is now.

Your best move, is to abandon the dark realm of mordor, move interstate, and swear fealty to the land of gels, working solar panels, and swimmable beaches…!!

No, no notch to keep the slide racked, but you might be able to cook something up in the workshop…

The mauser cocks and dry fires, but thats it…internal magazine…

Denix luger is my favourite…

But there’s nothing like the real thing…!!

Swimmable beaches ? Half of them you can’t go in for most of the year because of killer shopping bags floating around . I remember one of the camps taking the internals out of the gel m69 and selling it but I think since it’s technically originally a gel blaster it’s not allowed but I’m not to sure on that one.

Unfortunate that the chrome is a bit shit because the 6 inch colt revolver replica looks really good in the photos but crap in person I guess

As a denizen of the deep, water quality should not be a issue for you…!!

Its not too bad looking in the flesh…

see if you can grab a 2nd hand jobby…

I seen an Australian company making Memorabilia Display Frames for Veterans that used moulded replicas of every different military firearm imaginable, but I can’t remember their name or where they got their replicas made :confused:

The real question, squiddy, is ….

Why aren’t you up the Gold Coast, for schoolies…??

Hot schoolies chicks, everywhere….

You only get to go once…,

Damn straight!
Couldn’t keep us away from the beaches when we were Squidrings age :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
