My best mates son, has just finished the marathon, and graduated from medicine…
He and his other newly graduated doctors, have gone thru Asia, for a holiday…
Not that they are doing any crazy stuff…
I saw some pics, of he and his friends, shooting old AK-47’s at the range…!!

Yeah schoolies has changed a lot from when you guys would’ve done it people are either doing local camping trips or completely opting out of doing schoolies in general. Just sucks man I know the older generations hear this a lot but a lot of us younger blokes and chicks envy the experiences and privileges you guys grew up with. Just unfortunate that most of what you guys got to experience was stripped away by government incompetency and corporate greed.

Of course it’s bullshit… the guy gets ridiculously good trades for crappy gear because of who he is and because it’s going up online. Interesting concept though.
But it did make me wonder if a swap meet set up at one of the playing fields would be a good thing? Good way to get rid of and pick up some unusual gear that people have kicking around in their collections… like the old stuff that nobody but us weird arse dinosaur freaks would want to resurrect. 
Someone out there has a stockpile of early gen ABS blasters that have become ultra rare and collectible.
I guess it would be hard to police the “over 18” thing and there are already trade fairs like the one at Beenleigh Distillery, but I’m talking gel blaster specific.
I don’t imagine anyone offering a single Ultra Elite will have much success, but given that blasters are notoriously hard to resell, maybe this isn’t such a bad format for acquiring gear.
I DID have what would have been quite a valuable collection of rare and unique old Blasters … oh well

The comments were furious, full of abuse and hatred, and much more offensive than ANYTHING I ever wrote on that Sub… difference is that I was on the wrong side of the audience because I dared mention something that was being completely ignored and shouldn’t have brought up the topic obviously 
The whole point of my comment was that Subreddits like this are full of yeehaw yanks showing nothing but sick demented drone footage of red mist Russians and all cheering and back slapping over it, whilst in the meantime, ANYTHING that showed the actual truth in the conflict that didn’t go their way was completely ignored and never spoken about 
At this point of the conflict, they had stopped posting ANY new footage or reports about the major important losses of Ukrainian strongholds such as Avdeevka, and instead were replaying disgusting drone red mist porn for the followers instead, pausing until they could find the next “victory” from the AFU or new Russian gore porn footage to post and circle jerk over.
I had followed this Subreddit since I first joined Reddit and enjoyed the historical footage and information, but this recent conflict showed them up to be a massive gathering of unintelligent rednecks.
Every life is a human life, no matter which side of the fence you sit on.
Celebrating death and destruction of soldiers is the lowest of the low as far as I’m concerned

Yea I find Reddit to be a battle ground of who’s king on the internet for the day.
I only duck in there to retrieve info I’m looking for then GTFO
I was always immune to the term “keyboard warrior”, but after the GBF shut down, I was directed to Reddit and Discord to find my blaster fix… unfortunately all I found was a whole new world of angry and abusive people, and learnt pretty quick what a keyboard warrior was and the huge percentage of these types of people out there
Let’s not forget, these are the people who voted for trump.
