Every American gun owner I’ve spoken to are very responsible and friendly.
Also aliexpress seller mucked me up by giving me the wrong tracking number for my 2011 Combat Master model pistol. Checked my messages and the seller gave the real one.
47 000 gun deaths in the states in 2023.
Nearly 60% were suicides, nearly 40% murders. The rest were law enforcement and accidents.
Were all for reasonable gun control here, but the states has consistently had the highest number of gun deaths in the world, year on year.
I think it speaks a lot of the state of the nation.
Suicides contributing factors would be rampant drug use, homelessness, hopelessness , broken relationships and despair / lack of hope for any decent future.
All complex social problems.
Murders are a result of hatred, greed, envy, drugs and crime… all the worst emotions of the human condition.
I get the feeling that if society was a bit more balanced, with more wealth, opportunity, and hope for advancement and a better future, finding its way into the hands of more people, life would be better for many more.
Unfortunately, greed rules, and the 1% who have more wealth than they can ever possibly spend, still want more. And, its the average man who suffers for it.

I think it less a gun problem and more a mental health and family problem.
On the flipside some are just content with what they have and do not need too much to have a happy life. But each to their own, as long as you enjoy it as you are not here forever.
Life gets faster the older you get and before you know it’ll be gone.
