welp 4 super funds got hacked.
Superannuation funds including Rest, HostPlus, Insignia, Australian Retirement and AustralianSuper have all reportedly been targeted. However, so far AustralianSuper appears to be the worst affected.
At least 500k was stolen.
Thankfully that’s the Super Companies problem, not the customers themselves.
It’s their own liability and they are insured to cover such losses.

Similarities to my business. I’m glad the Aussie dollar is dropping, makes it cheaper for international buyers to buy my product, the local price and demand goes up and I win.
The red tape is a very valid point, even in my short time couple of decades, there has been so many extra rules, registrations, compliances and they ALL add to the cost of production.
I’m roughing it out with Merino, WA has mostly gotten out of wool production and gone for X breds or dorpers due to the live export ban so hardly any wool production there and as they found they can’t offload them over my way especially when there is droughts and floods on as that crashes the market to where a sheep is worth nothing.
The gov again just banning something to feel good and with NO solution to cover the huge gap left.
In my case the future looks good, still trying to ride this drought but I’ve got my plan, wool and meat dual purpose sheep. Shearers are already complaining not much work around as lots of farmers switch to pure meat sheep or out completely.
Cost of shearing has gone up, but still sustainable for me, as long as the market doesn’t crash and I make profit it’s good.
Once the east coast dries up and things start growing they will be looking to re stock from losses and add more, which will drive the market up, which is just starting to happen now.

I honestly don’t see how it could possibly be worse than the current political and economic situation the US is in under Trump.
No allies, plans to dominate the globe, invade Canada, Panama, Greenland, turn Gaza into the Gold Coast, hand Ukraine over to Putin, start a trade war with your best business partners that puts inflation through the roof and plummets shares on the stock market and make everything so expensive the average citizen can’t afford it.
