The Shit Pit

Its time to play, 4 dementia chess…

"We, like, totally have regime change. The old person is dead and there is a new person who respects me very much…so very much.

And the war really stopped, like, weeks ago. The gas is cheaper than ever. A former President called me…I won’t say who…won’t say. But he called and said “I’ve never seen anything like it, sir, and the ships are bringing the gas with all the trucks…so much trucks.”

And I, like, nodded very wisely but I am going to have him arrested…he is a friend of mine but, you know, our fine FBI Director said “we have the proof!” and I was, like, “we need to see it” and the ballroom will really look great, if you can believe it. The curtains are the best…so much trucks.

But the regime is gone now and the trucks are bringing the oil so, as you can see, we really do have Greenland now."

Q: Whats the difference, between the vietnam war, and the iran war.??

A: Daddy cant get donny, out of the iran war…

Hang on a minute, Newscum you’re out of Cali bringing his best mate in to replace.

Keep with the times, moving at lightspeed… backwards

Don’t worry about it so much.

If anyone should be worried it’s me, no fuel, gov lying again today I see, no fertilizer, but I see this coming in January and forward planned for it so I do not go bankrupt as many farmers are. Gov has 1 month to sort it out around here or there will be minimal crops that includes feed for animals and humans even if you are a vegy.

WA has cut back too I see, can’t get the everything they need right now. Fuel, sprays and Fertilizer. Read the report last week of one of the biggest ones in WA. People don’t understand you have a window of opportunity to get maximum yields and if you miss that window, you go bust very quick.

Oh it’s coming Bowen says, what in June, september, you can’t wait until then. Oh it’s only $4 a ltr. Well try filling up an 1100ltr tank on a Case tractor and you last around 12hrs on that. Becomes not viable.

It’s a mess around here, some sprayed and worked up paddocks just sitting there with Tractors empty on fuel. The paddocks are already drifting big sand blows across roads that councils can’t even get the graders out to clear off because no fuel. Haha IDGAF just lock her in 4x and hit the manual over ride button. This is what they wanted, you got it pal. Not just here, in Victoria too I see over the weekend.

I always said from day one, do not vote Labor the leader of it, there will be trouble. Oh well nobody listens reap the rewards of the kaos you will ensue for 2026. :man_shrugging:

My housemate working in Kalgoorlie has had his 10 hour days cut down to 8 hours because of the lack of Diesel, and that’s in the biggest Gold region of Western Australia.

I’m yet to catch up with another mate who runs a Company contracting Haul Road/Access Road building and maintenance to the big Mining companies such as BHP Billiton/FMG etc. up in the Kimberly/Pilbara regions……… but he was already commenting the same thing about the lack of Diesel availability as a subcontracted Company.:face_with_diagonal_mouth:

All that work on electrifying the mine trucks will sure help them dig it out of the ground. Just not sure how the diesel electrics will get it to port :man_shrugging:

Indeed, one trucking freight company I know has parked their dozen semis up as they cannot pass the cost on, stood down the drivers.

Another good friend is a driver locally for important frieght, farm supplies. He’s off for 2 weeks at the moment. He’s got another job to cover for the moment for a friend delivering a motorhome to Queensland.

Just bear in mind that a lot of mines run on diesel generators to provide that power as they are not hooked to a grid.

The only time that the general public will begin seeing these fuel shortages out here in the country is when the food shortages hit, postage/shipping/deliveries stop and fuel starts disappearing in the major Cities.:face_with_diagonal_mouth:

For sure, fuel is being siphoned out of freight semis having their required break on sides of roads.

Read other day Auspost has stood down some of it’s services. Increased the fuel surcharge from 4.8 to 12%

What blows me away to this day is during covid bs there was so many people working from home, of course not everyone can do that but just those that could made the roads a delightful place to be. Traffic was never a problem.

Why not work on that more? There is little need for many office workers to leave the house for work if they have the internet.

A subsidy for having people work at home would slow demand a noticeable amount, and place less load on infrastructure while improving efficiency for those that can’t work from home… but again… government only likes to be seen to be doing something - results don’t matter just polls

At least I know I’m doing my part, staying out bush riding my mountain bike every day!

I haven’t purchased any fuel for over a month.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Good idea. With the internet being better than in the past it should be doable for a lot. I only have one request, charge your bloody headset up before I’m trying to comm with them. Oh hang on I’ll have to call you back headsets flat, or can’t hear you lost bluetooth connection on it

Technically I work at home too, but I still need Diesel to run it

I won’t go far on DocBobs mountain bike

Don’t use Instagram enough to know if this works but wife and I had a giggle… the felt sad
