Like everyone bitching about covid lockdowns. I had full clearance to go everywhere and never stopped working, ever.

I was the same during COVID, went wherever I wanted and I worked right through, earned bulk coin doing it, had my regular gig during the week then worked the border closures on the weekends

COVID sucked for me… as a manager/salary earner for a trade supplier it was like Christmas busy season for over a year straight while everyone did renos instead of whatever they would have spent their money on!
For context: the normal “busy season” from late October to Christrmas prior to that was around 450k. The rest of the year was around 150-200k a month.
During COVID… 600k was the quietest month, with months in that years busy season over a million.
I did 60+ hour weeks on a salary that was based on around 40-45 hours… effectively I was earning less an hour than the shit kickers. Fuck that, no idea why I left LOL.
The roads were a delight though with many unable to work or working from home. We learnt nothing though and sent all those that could work from home back onto the roads twice a day and ruined it.
I know was great wasn’t it, no traffic. Clearance straight through without idiots blocking things up
