Yes there’s so many great British Shows and Comedians, and Bill Bailey is one of my most favourite next to Billy Connolly.
A couple more worthy of a mention is “the Inbetweeners”, “Bottom” and “Peep Show”.
My Daughter’s 2nd job is as one of the Managers of the Buffalo Club in Fremantle, where she uses her contacts in the industry to book Live Bands and Comedians for Events amongst all her other work.
Her boyfriend is a Sound and Lighting Engineer, so she also gets invited to Events when he’s working on various Gigs, so she gets plenty of exposure to a lot of these Performers.
Just got another text tonight, where she’s at a meeting with the Comedian and the Film Crew discussing the Mini Series and the timelines.
At least the Swearing has quietened down a bit now the initial excitement has worn off!

The pollies are only the visible part of the problem. The main problem are the bureaucrats who provide the advice to the pollies.
Some people I know work for the National Anti-Corruption Commission and they are appalled at what they have found in the senior executive service.
