Had the boss’s Mrs say that to me one day. I scraped a gate with shit cocky wire hanging out of it and the claret came out. Oh I’ve got first aid stuff.
I aint got time to bleed, and she laughed. Ok you got time to duck.
Gonna have me some fun, gonna have me some fun
Classic film. Have to rewatch it soon.
Thanks mate, yea the more you go to it’s kinda the norm, grieve, move along they liked me and want me to enjoy what I got left instead of being a sad sack.
I wonder though. Mate died at 20yo, another gone at 38, Dad’s mate made 62 and never drank or smoke. Dad’s mate same age 80 just got dementia left sneaker right thong in the morning.
Ok I get the message, I gotta go to the pub tomorrow as water is not good for you
I dunno I’m a bit in moderation sort of man, can’t drink all the time as gotta be zero to drive trucks etc, pot sends me even loopier after a first try when young so thats a negative. I just stick to a few special occassions of bit too much scotch and beer or a few beers after a hard weeks work to wash the dirt out.
Then you get the druggo next door, pisses all his child support up the wall and white stuff and the kid gets rice and says Daddy needs his special medicine. FFS what colour is it today, white, green and that bastard keeps living.
Ok rant off, thanks for the chat, I feel better now
I too have gone long stints with no beers. Much to my laughter on here of being told to chill out on it by a few. I find that hilarious.
I’m using the extra bits of money to save up for something wicked this way comes. Next year. It’s a blaster, a big blaster
Seriously been laid up with influenza A, the missus too now. Such a wonderful souvenir to bring back from my recent trip to Melbourne. Almost a week of trying to cough up a lung with the shit thing.
My neice up at Cloncurry Hospital tells me there are 44 cases of it to date in the hospital and climbing, and apparently it’s running rampant amongst the staff at Australia Zoo so it’s on the Sunny Coast.
Fucking horrible thing it is too, peeps. Stay safe, do what you can to not get it because I would not wish this f*cker on my worst enemy.
You’re lucky your mum still lives at home… my 94 year old mum’s in a home and when we dropped in to visit her last week it was PPE all around… Covid and influenza through the place. It has to be the staff and visitors that are patient zero because most of the residents don’t go out.
