Just looking at some of the prices of blasters and parts.
This hobby is get to expensive for most .
When I first got into this the most expensive blaster was $450.
Now it’s $1500 plus.
I know that banning them in all states bar Qld has pushed up the price and a lot of shops have gone by the way side.
Which has left the remaining shops able to raise the prices,as there dealing with a smaller market.
I got into this hobby not to run around a field (see photo above) .No not that one the next one.
But just to have them as display and modify.
I can see this hobby pricing them selfs out of business.
That’s if the government don’t get there first.
This is the way of some hobbies .
Remember paint ball.and soon to be E scooter’s.
As humans we are very good at sabotaging are own fun.
Anyway rave over picked up my dummy and put honey on it and stuck it back in my mouth

The m60 is an interesting one.
Full RRP, is $479 US dollars.
Lets say, for a bulk order , he gets them for say $420 US.
Thats around $700 AUD, just for the blaster.
Add shipping ( rapey rapey), import taxes etc your probably around $900 landed.
There is also extra cost for conversion, (done overseas), probably $150.
I’d reckon over $1000 AUD, per item, is a reasonable cost estimate.
So yeah, maybe making $500 gross profit per unit.
Then deduct wages, rent, power etc…and lets not forget the tax man…
It is expensive, but i can understand why they are priced so high…
We all wish they were cheaper…

Compare this, to the spas 12.
You can buy one for 280 rm in malaysia ( $90 AUD…full price, plus profit)
So, ordering in a batch of , lets say 350… the bulk price might be $65 AUD each.
Add shipping, taxes, NO MODIFICATION expenses… maybe $100 each, landed.
$100 profit, per blaster…times 350.
They’ll sell like hot cakes, so thats $35k, gross profit…
Pay rent/wages/power/tax…maybe $50 nett profit, per blaster.
$17 000…not too bad…( all of these figures, are quick, rough guess-timations)
That, is a much easier process, than modding / importing maybe 40-ish M60’s…

Yes, the feeling/thought is mutual here.
Paintball in my state got restricted and priced higher, it’s an easy way to reduce numbers.
Stoopid thing is now they restricted blasters I had to get a additional class on my licence to cover paintball and have twice as many “firearms” now. Yep makes complete sence. Oh well whatever. Takes all the fun out of it for me. Just move on to other interests… like sheep shagging. They haven’t restricted that yet.
