Upcoming Blasters and Products

I am very interested in one of these, look very cool and would suit my local indoor fields well. Time to file my first B709a and hope it works out

Kind of reminds me of a bastard child spawned from a few too many schnapps shots at the H&K Christmas party… in a good way. A mash up of a MP5K and an UMP. :man_shrugging:

Very cool little unit though. :+1:

Haha it does look like when an MP5K loved an UMP very much…

B&T, Swiss manufacturer. Apparently like the MP5, lots. And this is their modernisation/simplification of that.

It will be interesting to squeeze some reasonable power out of it, the inner barrel is going to be very short. But we all know I am a sucker for punishment and love a challenge.

If the XYL ARP9 is anything to go by, will be decent as is. The mosfet will need to replaced eventually when it blows, and I am guessing there is very little battery space, especially given it has mag prime and blowback. Definitely disabling blowback because reliability.

Kind of hoping the gearbox is similar to or the same as the ARP version, as then it is a known quantity. Also as much as I did not like the ARP9 platform, I did appreciate the performance and aftermarket parts support it had. It did have quite the cult following too, which meant I worked on loads of them, predominantly for semi auto builds.

I am planning to do a teardown and optimise it initially, with minimal parts maximum return. The later after a few games and use to see how it fares, go for something like a T238 DTU, brushless motor and 12/13:1s for efficiency on the small battery, see what can squeeze out of it. I am already thinking a longer inner barrel and suppressor with hopup is going to be the best bang for buck return.

Sounds like you’ve got a plan, Stan. integrated suppressor like the ACP9 Tele?

B&T make some cool bang bangs. MP9 /TP9 springs to mind. Pretty sure the folding stock on the linked ACP is the same one B&T make for the MP5K too.

Make sure you put your progress up for us… sounds like an interesting project and you know how we like to live our lives vicariously through the experiences of others. :joy:

Makes for very entertaining reading too… love the tech stuff on here. :+1:

Only talked about the APC9 recently Real Steel Thread - #433 by Friendly_Fire and poof :boom: here it is

Another proprietary magazine, hope they have spares…

Am I the only one who sees it as a baby SCAR ?

When a M4 hits a brick wall, at 60 km/hr…!!
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

The rifle design equivalent to a Pug dog :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’ll pay that one… now that you mention it.

Awesome likenesses you guys have painted for me! I’ll pay them all!

Still going to try and get one though!
Anything that isnt another M4 is all I want!

Daddy

Is that a SCAR-SC?

I do love a good FN

Hot daym!
Gonna have me digging through my parts boxes to see if I’ve got enough bits and pieces to replicate one of those! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I reckon would look even better with a 20 round mag in that puppy :ok_hand:

Aftermarket PRE-ORDER SCAR PDW3 - BLACK

SCAR SC FN SCAR®-SC - FN HERSTAL

Man those Scars are $$$, just looking on gunbroker retail 3.5K USD :astonished:

They’ve always been expensive, and not a million clones like the AR platform.

So if ya want one, ya gotta shell out those shekels!

Vas posted a video on FB of some blasters that just came in E&C HK 417, HK M110a1, Stoner M110, another licensed M4 that’s escaping me ATM and another random brand MCX.

Those are gonna be some pricey units but they look good.

Yeah that G28 and M110 gets me hard. I have been wanting a v2.5 gel gearbox for ages, extra volume for those long DMR style rifles!

Not sure I like the E&C M110 as much as the fixed stock Ares version.
