That makes sense, plenty of Australian vehicles sent to South Africa during those years.

I remember when holden was making the 2 door Commodore Monaro I did a tour of their plant and they were just gearing up to send them to the USA and had already been exporting the new Monaro to the Middle east like Dubai for a year with great success along with Caprices.
