What are you watching today?

Did you slip her one  Surely you couldn’t miss that ass bahaha

So that weather, I’m keeping a close eye on it with the contractor. As far as I can see now it’s going to come here and slip off the great bite hit smellyaide and do a loop round and smash Victoria and I get fk all again. Good if it does that this time, as I need to shear, can’t shear wet sheep you do get Pneumonia.

Won’t matter if I miss this time I’m up to a total of 75mm since Jan 1 this year and I got shit to do so a bit more fuckall for me won’t matter  :+1:

I’ve had it heaps of times, yep raining today, which is what they said, few blue blobs on the bom dot com, then not a drop.

Then it starts raining, nothing on the radar, nor on the forecast, ah the angels are pissing on me  Only for 5 minutes though. Nobody home, sunshine and frost  Oh well whatever, bring it on I like a challenge.

This is pretty interesting for me. Watanabe but umm yea we were loading 1.5T ingots at a time for the masses. I’ll be interested to see their QA checks especially on the rear of the spokes. :face_with_monocle:

Jesus christ I can see all things of going wrong and Im only 5 mins in. Rag on head and belt fk out of it with a hammer. Plus we used 4t forklifts to do the pour but I guess they are low volume and we were high volume. No wood involved, as that shit burns, cast dies that needed reworking constantly.

The commentator, “scraping out everything that is not suppossed to be there” erm that’s called dross. Oh well something I know about and I’m having a giggle big bahahaha

They say magnesium wheels but it wouldn’t be straight magnesium. It’s mostly Alloy with about 10% magnesium, and 8% Strontium then a couple others low percentage I can’t remember as I did a stint on the mix for Toyota wheels we used to make.

I wouldn’t buy a straight up magnesium car wheel as the fucker will catch on fire and burn your car to smitherenes in five minutes. Stick to making funky Watanabe Tamiya RC models. Far out

Oh look there is no QA, farken hell wtf are they doing. All hand build, well there is a wide gap in that, mutsugimo and boon tap over there might have wide variances I’d think.

Oh well who gives a fuck, Australia doesn’t make wheels anymore so you get shit that flys apart

This is so cool, we didn’t even check for porosity in the rear of the spokes where it is always a problem. But it’s brand new, no problem!! Fk me haha

My goofiest friend sent this video to me :joy: - got a good laugh out of it :joy:

Just what I needed to kick Monday morning off  :+1:. Canadians rock, I have family there, and have worked with some locally on farms and shearing sheds, always top people.

Are you in Canada? I’ve got one I contact frequently talk to in the timber industry. Such a beautiful place, don’t know if I’d hack the minus 30c though when I struggle with our +50c these days. Top people and stick to your guns and in the Commonwealth as we Aussies are. Let the USA go crazy like they do forever and stand back

Thanks man ! Yup, I live in Toronto…Canada is definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. Never been to Australia, but I’ve heard and seen great things about it! The liberals just keep getting more and more paranoid about guns here . At least we don’t have to worry about multiple mass shootings a day :upside_down_face:…after being on this forum for a couple months I want to visit Australia all the more…yall are a great bunch of people! (and I can never stop thinking of all the dope gel blasters I’m missing over there :smiling_face_with_tear: :joy:). Our selection of Chinese and US online stores are quite limited…

Howdy.
Just a question…

what are your rules, about airsoft?
Do they vary from state to state.?

I would have thought airsoft would have been a more popular choice…
Cheers !

Cheers mate, I’ve always had great experiences with Canadians. Ignore the shit I dribble at times I’m cheeky with a few locals that have known me awhile.

Yea Australia is a great place, big as the 48 states of USA and this bullshit about everything is going to kill you with drop bears and crap far out. Well I’m still alive for 5 decades now so it can’t be that bad haha

I was talking to my Canadian friend earlier this year when Carney got in just to see what he thought and he said should be ok as far as he knew.

Yea the firearms thing, it is inevitable as the crims do more crim things with them and they restrict the law abiding firearms owners further because that’s all they can do. I follow a bit of US news when I get time and holy cow they were having nearly daily shootings, sprayed up the CDC far out. Shot at Firemen. Crazy.

Glad I’m not there, they can keep it  :+1:

I’m actually not too sure about the other provinces, but here in Ontario the rules are surprisingly loose - we have a couple of airsoft stores in the area. I haven’t looked into it to far, but the rules seem to be similar to the US’ rules regarding it. The only reason why I chose gel blasters was simply because it seemed more “chill” and you wouldn’t get in trouble for doing a little skirmish in the backyard with your mates . Also, earlier on I though airsoft was much more expensive, but now looking at my $350+ gen 8 SCAR, I’ve changed my mind :smiling_face_with_tear:. Now that I’ve invested so much money and time into the hobby, it would be hard to go back and start a new, and equally expensive one  (not that I want to, though). I have always considered buying just one airsoft gun just to be able to travel and participate in a milsim, which would be cool as hell. But in the end I’m happy with gel blasting - wouldn’t give it up for anything

Cool Ontario, that’s where my last known where abouts of my family were, been over a decade and deceased elderly now though kinda drifted apart the siblings.

If I was going to travel overseas, Canada would be my pick :+1: So beautiful. People are cool as.

Good stuff. Glad you enjoy it.!

Backyard use, is a big thing…ease of enjoyment, even if its just for plinking / testing.

I believe in South Australia, you can only legally fire them at registered fields…

We can go a bit over the top here, in OZ…!!

Thankfully in Queensland, its cut those bananna’s down from your backyard tree, with your M-60…!!

Happy Days…!!

One advantage gels have over BBs…

Gels either disintegrate or dry up very quickly… looking at airsoft footage, those little plastic balls, while they do eventually degrade, hang around a fair amount of time.

I reckon my missus might have a bit of an issue with a backyard full of BBs… the gels are bad enough. Everytime it rains they make an appearance again.

Just tell her I’m looking after the garden with orbeez, see I’m gardening at 300 fps

It was the Glow Gels that always made me laugh.

You tend to forget about them, and yet every winter the front lawn would suddenly come alive with an eerie green glow once the sun went down. :joy:

If you water them enough they might grow in to one of these

The glow gel are hilarious, when I could shoot in my back yard, and my back yard is bigger than most, we had a game day with a dozen of us.

Mate rolls up after dark, unloading his 4wd, I’m gonna get him, mag dumped glows from 50ft away all over him, his esky, his Nissan, fk that was so funny. Ah wtf you bloody bastard  classic, good times.

Even had a battle in the shearing shed, then the machinery shed, the stockyards. I had a sneaky spot climb up on top of the header and get in the grain box, pop up as it is about 30ft high and I could see everyone, let a burst go and duck back down in to the grain box. They figured it out eventually. Great fun it was. Then a local mate farmer called by to say g’day, he said what the fk with all our gear on, oh just training in case we get a 9/11 with my mates 10yo kid. Fun times. Oh well can’t do it now.

Shearing shed was funny, mates brother tried to frontal attack us using the wool press as cover, I said you see that 1" gap there on the backboard, aim for that, we both unloaded argh and doing barrel rolls through the pens and drilled him some more. See got ya  fun times :+1:

Watching some Paul Kersey tonight …

Co-starring Craig T Nelson too! Can’t go wrong with that.

Watching the rain pouring down and the wind howling through the trees.
