Reading through the above. Re OS it depends a bit on the political climate. HK is now under control of China. When our glorious leaders have spats, China has done in past regards what I produce lock it down refuse import/export. Also my gov will do the same.
Sydney will refuse it depending who is the officer on day as it does not comply with that states laws. Been the case for a long time.
All you can do is what you have. Dot your I’s and cross your T’s.
Also the time of year with high volume traffic to process they are under pressure and knock anything back at the discretion of the ABF officer on the day.
I also used to get items from USA that are now prohibited as they tightened their ITAR regs. Shop won’t post a screw as their gov won’t let them and at risk of business being shut down.
Re the Burton I prefer the stainless grip screws 
As for finding tricky size/type I have used Bolt & Nut Australia | Suppliers of Fasteners & Kits Online, Brisbane before with success.

Yeah, i reckon the stainless adds some bling.
Ive lodged the appeals process, withe the b709 ( they knew about that at customs anyway), so all i can hope for is a sensible result.

Routed the pick guard on my Tom Delonge strat copy for a Hotrails neck pickup and threw it in… was going to go with black but I think I like the white better. Still have a tone pot with coil split and a three way switch to put in, they’re in the mail… c’mon Postie! 
No longer a De Longe strat but it’ll still sound like one in the bridge position with that Invader clone and definitely more versatile tone wise.
I mean, who doesn’t love a creamy strat neck pickup… split or in 'bucker config. 
This is getting to be my favourite guitar with that rather unique bound neck and block fret inlays. Good times!

Took a commission to build a Y-Wing for a customer in US.
I converted the Hasbro X-Wing Toy and molded and cast the wings. When I did that I had 2 commissions to build them. One in UK and one in the US.
Now one of the buyers wants a Y-Wing to go with their X-Wing
Models you can buy of these only go up to 1/48 scale, so the one’s I make are 1/18th which is larger than the filming models, but people like the size.
Just in the initial stage of mapping out the build. I should really get a 3D printer, but I’ll scratch build the entire ship.
Replica movie props is a strange little hobby, but it’s quiet big business around th world

You could be into vintage bottle cap collecting, and i bet you, there would be other people out there into the same thing…
And, if you can make money out of doing something different, you enjoy…all the better for it…

Just spent five hours sweating it out putting together a flat pack desk and sorting out a home office area in the downstairs bar area for the newly re-employed missus. Faaaaaaark me… sweating like a dingo shaggin’ in a bushfire 
Done now… literally. Looks like the gel blasters have a bit of competition for available space…

Grabbing a fresh homemade beef and gravy roll from the old CWA fete whilst we are in town… might have to go find the local pub for one over the wood before we head back out bush
