Boom Tube, got a circumcision today…
Straight edge paper marked, masking tape layered, and carefully cut.
Came out pretty well, a bit of sanding has it sorted.
Being so short, if the angles are a bit out, it doesn’t really matter…
I’ll go for a bit of araldite to glue it on.
i reckon in this instance, the barrel being so thin, i’ll get a tube with mixing nozzles, to a single tip.
This allows easier application, with an aim of trying to keep the glue inside.
I reckon aim for half the glue on the inside of the barrel, with a thin layer on half the matching surfaces.
That way , when pushed together, hopefully there wont be any extrusions…
Lets see how that works out…
I reckon it looks better, at the correct length…

Assisting with the beach preventative measures where the sands washed away at surfers paradise
They dug out a shit load of sand to lay down geofab to try and prevent the stairs washing away after one of the lifeguard towers was swept away.
Currently still have an excavator on the beach and the water is coming up quick
I don’t see any beach there. I didn’t last time I was there. Built up too close to it.

When you are done there I have more sand than that for you guys to move around thanks
The hire company would be loving it making a heap of money playing in some sand.

Yeah he kept swapping which way he attached his bucket for whichever way he was scooping the sand, n he ended up tracking back up the “beach” with the waves going about a foot over his tracks.
And it gets worse, they went well over their shift time so he’s not going to be washing it down after being in that sand which is no good for it at all, looks like a fairly new machine too so I doubt the company will be impressed
