What Did You Get Up To Today?

Did I forget to mention…
Massive bonuses, for the upper echelon.?

Look at just about every West Australian Politician “retiring” into high paid Mining Company Corporate Jobs.
Nah, nothing to see there, despite the millions in “donations” during their political careers… they definitely acted in the interests of the community/environment and not the Mining Companies.

Good ole Gina rhinehart…

Disowned one of her own children, because she wanted full control of the company herself…

That is the face, of unabated greed…

Wasn’t just one child… greedy bitch fought the whole family for every single cent she could steal away from them. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Apologies for the glitch, damn touchscreens!

And , greed is a demon that is never satisfied.
Narcissists/ psychopaths are cursed people.
Their ultimate fate, is set in stone.

Regardless of how much much money/ power/ status / fame they have…
It’s never enough. Empty blackness, resides in their soul.
Their abhorrent nature repels people, and once they leave power, no one wants anything to do with them.

This is true for Putin, trump, xipang, all psychopaths…
Don’t envy them for their money…
They are empty , broken , morally bankrupt people.
They have it all, but have nothing…

Westfarmers purchased Coles and implemented the Coles predatory buying processes.

Normal FMCG process of Westfarmers and Woolworths is to find a local supplier and slowly increase purchase requirements until supplier has to borrow to invest in more plant and equipment. Once the supplier is in debt, the buyer starts putting pressure on them to reduce their prices and if the supplier doesn’t comply, the buyer reduces purchase quantities. If the give the supplier a price increase, the buyer will reduce the quantity they purchase by the value of the increase plus between 20-30%. Slowly sends the supplier broke.

My father would never provide product to Coles or Woolworths and when they tried to bring in a competitor, Dad slapped them with patent royalty payments. They tried on my father-in-law who was the only local source of the fibreglass moulding technology that he and his brother developed, so he doubled his price at the next contract negotiation. They refused to buy from him until one of their customers that used his product advised them that they couldn’t supply this high demand item because they couldn’t get the part. Problem solved very quickly

The few years spent in second tier FMCG/Food wholesale and retail taught me a lot about the unethical behaviour of the big guys

Na seperate entity from Coles and Wesfarmers/Dalgety were here when I started but disappeared and got bought out by Canadian Nutrien Ag and they shut the local railway lines down as the gov flogged those of to them in the deal. Wesfarmers are no where to be seen here as the gov pulled funding to keep them afloat years ago.

But anyway nobody cares so it doesn’t matter  I have my lamb on the spit :+1:

Wesfarmers are just a conglomerate corporation these days of office people doing fuck all and sticking their greedy finger in the Kmart and Bunnings pie along with everything else. Afaik anyway, won’t do business with them they are robbing cunts.

The sole supplier to coles for all your pig is 15klm up the road from me and they are huge. Supply Nationwide. They have and done for years sole supplier to Coles. Haven’t caught up recently but they will be struggling as they have 20k sheep as well and do 30+ thousand acres of crop purely to feed the pigs and a bit for the sheep. Interesting working there and learning, they are top people. Australian family. They don’t muck around. :+1:

Yup, modern conglomerate greed ruining everything, and only the strongest survive, such as the very detailed comments from @Wombat … who put it in a much clearer manner than when I try and explain it to people! :ok_hand::raised_hands:

Been at it a few days but slowly making new fishing lures, even went to super cheap and got 2 cans of clear coat.

Tiger Prawn in Drag! :ok_hand::raised_hands:

LOL tho thanks for the free pattern idea, now to go bury my head in about 50 refrence images of tiger prawns so i can figure out the color range needed for it.

Someone caught a very nice barra off Redcliffe recently. They’re definitely about… maybe all the fresh water’s stirred them up.

Those lures look great. Anything would eat them… trevally, flathead, bream, jack, tailor, cod… you name it. :+1:

I hear longtom are in plague proportions off the Sunny Coast right now… shame they’re no good on the fang. :man_shrugging:

I can see some targets closer than that…

Now the licks are out, they even come pre-salted!
