What Did You Get Up To Today?

Thank you VERY much @Friendly_Fire

Arrived safe and sound and will be a treasured part of the collection once I get a room cleared out enough to start a display!

Got me keen to go digging through the storage unit and find some of the rest of the gear to match!

You’re very welcome, Doc… glad it got there okay. :+1:

Good to know it’s found a good home.

Are you size 9  I got newbies in the kit. Genuine ADF

Got some fresh 3d printing filament delivered from jaycar, 100 dollars total with same day delivery, wallet is not happy but now i can work on some fun projects now.

The print has started i wonder if anyone can guess what im making, and yes my printer needed eyes for laughs.

HELL YEAH!
9.5 , but 9 definitely fit for sure!

BNIB leftovers from my family. Tan, the good ones

Awesome mate! Been chasing some for quite a while, but being footwear, it’s not something that people would obviously ever consider selling manky old second hand stuff on the market, usually just get thrown in the bin.

Yours  :+1:

I have lot’s of stuff like my Uncles battle belt Alice that he used in Nam but that’s personal and no money will replace it. It’s an heirloom. I still use it for game days when I can.

I know what you mean old used stuff. Try and charge the earth. But you can gift things no problem. Just make you a family member first  :+1:

Got a few Bere’s too but again they are tied to family.

Cheers mate, you’re a bloody legend! :raised_hands::australia:

Same with my father’s and grandfather’s gear, that’s definitely staying in the family, and my Daughter has already been handed down quite a few items.

Lots of the other gear that mates have passed onto me were because it was their own personal kit and didn’t have any kids or anyone else to hand down to, so passed onto me for appreciation in keeping it safe and the knowledge/stories of their origins getting passed down to my own family and kids. :hugs:

Each piece has a story behind it and those who wore/used it in their Service, which is very valuable in keeping those stories alive.

Yes same here that is irreplicable. Only my Dad, Grandfather, Uncle then Great Uncle.

But anyway just went through the kit I have and found them so all good. Og box is a bit wobbly so trying to figure out how to box them up so the og box doesn’t get damaged in post.

 RC box might do it  :+1: will take me a bit I’ll touch base gotta hit the big smoke. But all good :+1:

Cheers mate… time to hit up the empty box pile at the local IGA or Hardware Store!

I was being lazy with your package and just taped up the original box the parts came in.:joy:

Prick of a day today one of the local farmers toppled off the perch 84 so not too bad.

Appreciate the chats @DocBob but it’s all good if I seem a bit silly as a wheel

All good mate, I can understand what it’s like when a community loses one of their strainer posts.

Keep plugging away mate and raise a few beers in his honour.

It was a grenade, this one https://makerworld.com/en/models/1147596-airsoft-grenade-system-v3 i had a failure of the body so i didnt get the chance to take assembled pics of it.

Caught up with my Uncle.

You’ll like this @DocBob the green HR that is his restored he did a good job on it.

He’s done an awesome job on that old girl, and the Brock story is a good bit of history.:ok_hand:
Sure miss my old X2.

Thought you might like that. They used it for the story of course.

Peter Perfect was always my favorite driver. Man did he get busy on the pedals. Always polite, unlike Skaife you’re all a pack of arseholes. :open_mouth:

Put Larry Perkins Peter Perfect with perkins engineering together watch out under Mobil they we’re pretty good. Larry still gets out on a parade lap sort of thing before the main race these days.

I watch bit’s of youtube Perkins engineering they have a Peter Brock Mobil original Commodore that they are working through to restore that had lots of custom parts on it. :open_mouth: :+1:

I tried watching Bathurst last year but it was boring. Fat yank tanks

Did someone say grenade? just need a spring for this and it will work as a bang grenade via those old 8 round gun caps.

Also made and painted some mollee name tags for myself, need to redo with a finer brush eventualy
