@shadow187 could just been in Nigeria and got some more iron in your diet. Santa came with a present, you need more iron.

  joking but knew that was going to happen because of what they’ve been doing for months. New glass factory perhaps :man_shrugging:

Hope you are having a good one in Mexico there, avoid the imports

Another fisho session at Bribie Island… not usually my thing over the Christmas madness period but the missus was keen to give it a go. :person_shrugging: Both of us don’t tolerate direct UV (no… we’re not vampires) so the cloud cover was very welcome

Several lost fish, only a couple of scungy long tom made it to the sand, but nice to be out and about. Hard to beat those views of the Glass House Mountains. :+1:

Awesome I was hoping it wasn’t your house burning up Brisbane way. Got notified this morning, ah I’m not going to make it.

You’ve got water, check, food, check. Ack on the UV’s are high. At least you didn’t burn your foot as I did. Gets hot out in the funtry  :+1: :joy:

Just got back from Bremer Bay and already planning to head back on the 17th of January for yet another adventure!

Short video of ā€œcruisingā€ along one of the many beautiful beaches down in the region, unfortunately had to keep slowing down past other beachgoers, but had sections of doing 140-160 kph on the smoother and less populated stretches of coastline… and remember that this is New Year’s, the busiest time of the year!

Trying to hold onto your hat, a can of Bush chook and operate a phone at the same time was quite the challenge!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Surprised that’s allowed in WA. SxS can’t be registered in most states other than for farm use.

2 projects 95% finished, courtesy of akgelblaster AU.

THATS AWESOME! Congrats man, was nice to meet you and help get those unique pieces done and underway!

To everyone else waiting… you will just have to keep waiting sorry… A little more work but hopefully you will start to see blasters available tomorrow night.

To help explain the delay… there is none! I picked up the shipment Friday ahead of schedule and was NOT ready for it at all… Saturday spent clearing space so I can unpack/work/sort through everything… Sunday doing that… who needs a weekend!

Back to work tomorrow but I will be hammer and tongs to try and get stock ready for everyone, it will be that all week and next weekend too.

Also my shelving and new work bench set up are arriving this week… with a bit of luck I will be far better organised and the time savings that will enable will only improve the process for everyone

Never stop improving and learning from your mistakes and short comings I say!

I built myself a new work bench from grinders, welders and a bit of fitter and turner into shit skills.

mm my work area is too big to ac it or my power bill will quadruple :joy:

But you get that working on trucks and tractors lol. I have my toy work bench under the air con for those high UV 50c+ days when I can relax and play with my toys.

Going to warm up a bit here later this week I notice. Trying to water everything so plants and animals don’t die

As a recent Victorian transplant I don’t begrudge you the A/C. Queensland summer can be brutal. But as someone that just returned to Vic to pack up his belongings for the move, and suffered through a Christmas in single digits. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Not as brutal as here got 52c recently :joy: I see Mexico was copping rain, one part of Australia burns, the other part floods. Is what it is.

So you broke out of mexico, now your name makes sense :joy: Welcolme to the land of the free… ish :+1:

My family have been here for almost 20 years. I just let work / wife hold me back from making the move. With the mass migration, protests and crime (including suffering a home invasion where my 2019 Mustang was stolen), I’d had enough.

disgusting, isn’t it…

where the hell did all this crime come from…??

It didn’t happen like this, 10-15 years ago…

The problem is the minds of the offenders…
What they allow themselves to do, or not do…what is permissible to them…

No qualms or problems attacking and assaulting others … over usually very little…

drugs, peer pressure, and a bleak hopeless future, where drugs and crime are a thrill…

not the world i grew up in…
