West Australian music shits all over the rest of the Eastern states copying wannabe bands that follow whatever is popular in the industry to try make a indent in the bullshit common trends pushed by any modern ā€œproductionā€ company

Donā€™t mind a bit of Eskimo Joe. I believe they were over performing for the Adelaide 500 before xmas :+1: :+1:

Fun times over on reddit, someone thinks selling a co2 beretta, 10 bulbs and 4 packets of gels for $400 is giving a really good deal.

Everyone is giving him a reality check, and heā€™s just doubling down on the stupid.

Edit, stalked on a supplied fb link. Looks like itā€™s a she, cannot assume anything these days

I bought an HTC Vive Cosmos Elite and I spent all night doing the set up and played some games.

Eyyyy! Iā€™ve got an original Vive with Valve Index controllers, I love vr to bits.

What games have you been playing? My #1 favourite is Hotdogs Horseshoes and Handgrenades. Then Half Life Alyx.

I heard about hotdogs, horseshoes and handgrenades through JoshDub, check out his video on it, itā€™s fkn hilarious.
Iā€™ve not yet tried VR. What headset would be a good entry point? Iā€™ve been looking at the meta quest two but never got around to getting it.

Do NOT buy Meta stuff. The build quality is garbage, and you have to give Facebook all sorts of details. It also means that Facebook gets a set of cameras in your house. Icky, no thank you.

I recommend buying an original HTC Vive kit. The one with the base stations and the wand controllers. This has two major advantages over Meta headsets.

  1. Outside in tracking. The inside out tracking model of Meta headsets make it hard to do things where your controllers are in front of each other. Like aiming a rifle. It also isnā€™t nearly as reliable when doing things behind you back, like unslinging a gun, or taking something out of a backpack.

  2. Upgrade ability. The original HTC Vive is compatible with all of the Valve Index stuff. I started with an absolute standard HTC Vive, and after about a year, the controllers were proving uncomfortable in some games, so I bought some Index controllers which are absolutely fantastic. If my headset ever dies, I can upgrade that for cheaper than it would cost to buy a whole Index kit. ā€¦And I donā€™t think Iā€™ll ever upgrade the base stations, as the Vive ones are great.

There should be kits on ebay, if you want to get your hands on one.

Only tried Beat Saber and Half-Life Alyx.

Honestly, despite H3VR being my favourite game, Half Life Alyx is easily the best VR game to date. The production value in it is just through the roof, compared to anything else Iā€™ve ever seen.

I have to agree HLA is a very well done release with huge depth. Something XBOX users will never understand :joy:

I am tempted to buy the wireless kit down the line.

I also like the loading animations in HLA. I can even do press checks on the pistol LUL
