I think you’re right… I left a comment on a very recent US review of the BF M14 EBRs, said that I was surprised they weren’t more popular in the US given their patriotic preference for replicas of US based firearms.
He replied that there had been a big downturn in the popularity of gel blasters over there recently.

There are some toy brands trying to claim patent for gel blaster design. Probably making up the definition on any possible internal channels is their tactics. The patent for gelblaster design has driven some other toy brands away already, which is not a good sign. Not a shame to be not the creator… but it’s a shame for those claiming to be the creator while they don’t.

That’s not a good sign. I have been thinking about how to transit the review and mods knowledge in our discord to a channel where the sharing can be more accessible to everyone. When people find it easier to search info related to the hobby and easier to join a game, it is easier for them to get on the hobby and continue to explore it. We should not only focus on selling, but also growing the community.

As I’ve done many a time on your business Discord @AKgelblaster , posting links to this Australian Forum for your customers, along with YouTube links to the likes of @LowGuido and @Bradley Phillips goes a very long way to support new players in this hobby 
It’s all about sharing links to the best people available for detailed information rather than trying to build an Encyclopaedia of knowledge ourselves on a single site
