Always plenty of annoying little things that you always find when tearing things apart, but nothing a little patience and ingenuity wonāt fix.
Wow, I remember the days I was into modding, wiring and customizing my Blasters. Having gone from the beginning to the end of this there is some damn impressive ideas and innovative work. Great paint colours and ā¦ Aaawww Hell, I got to say this!

. I see later that you refined your skill set and indeed moved a long way from āJedi master of the Dildoā, to a true master blaster modder!
Innovation comes from within, damn I hope that doesnāt sound weird! 
My innovation was definitely not like yours, I was only interested in reaching a predestined velocity, reliability and some electronic tweaks to improve the fire control system. Oh yes, Accuracy was also a goal within those parameters. Iāve got so much junk lying about now I will really need to get it out there and have a clearance sale too!
It was great fun recreating the replicaās (or NAFCG replica) of the real ones I used or captured in the early days in the sandpit! Some have moved on to new homes already and were fun while I had them. They are in better hands now, where they can be used.
I do envy the skill of 3D printing you guys have, that has come a long way since it began. I am really curious about this 3D printing in alloy and S/Steel now? HTF can they do that?
Well, I just wanted to say I am really impressed by what I have seen and itās great to see innovation alive and kicking in the Forum.
Keep on innovating and building new stuff, it looks great, weird and fun. Isnāt that what this should all be about

Printed some spacers, no gap, no rattle.

Oh I just realised the cylinder is notched cause of the blowback alignment
Iāve disabled blowback and filed off that cylinder detent on many CYMA gearboxes before so they can take aftermarket jobbies.
I could have always filed a notch in the new cylinder tooā¦ but Iād rather file nylon than metal anyday.

Hadnāt come across it before onna cyma, Ive worked in a few but none of them has blowback, obviously hence why.

9" Angle grinder sorts all your worlds problems out. You either fix it or fk it 
Was working on my SCAR-SC to get a battery to fit while I wait for the putty on the ADAR to dry.
The battery keeps bottoming out on something, first o thought it was a nub onto the gearbox so I grinded that offā¦
Not my best work but itās enough.
But that didnāt make any difference. Looking inside the cavity thereās an oversized screw sticking down, thought oh, well I can just swap that with a shorter on and it should clear itā¦
The bloody thing is only screwing into the receiver, itās not holding anything in place
At first I thought it might have been a stop for the charging handle but the spring doesnāt even stretch that far and it has a bolt catch anyway that the screw is actually preventing the bolt from reachingā¦
This blaster has been on the backburner pretty much since I got it last year cause I couldnāt get anything but the smallest 7v in there only to find it was a pointless screw preventing me from being able to use itā¦
Itās still a tight fit but it fits nowā¦
And I just discovered a screw is missing that holds the barrel in placeā¦
I have one of these I bought as a project that has been on the back burner for a while too, And this was to be a hurdle I knew I needed to address so thanks for the insight mate.
Cute little ugly package, mine needs a good amount of fit and fiddle to get working as it was bought in parts missing internals. Going to butcher an MK gearbox into mine at some point, but it is far from straight forward like I was hoping!
If you want to change the barrel itās not a standard t-piece like the M4, itās a fair bit longer.
Mine mine was a DB from memory, 8.5mm OD barrel.
May need to pull it apart again think I might have pinched one of the wires in the back too much trying to get the stock plate back on.
The wires run up behind the gearbox to the battery on-top, but thereās a groove just under the spring retainer that a tongue on the rear plate sits in, which just so happens to be right where the wires want to be because thatās where they come out of the gearbox ā¦ So I almost sheared the wire, got a good groove in the wire now but doesnāt seem to be broken but that can be a tomorrow job 
Oh and it turns out the spring for the charging handle is incredibly weak and I ended up pulling the loop on the front straight out, which itās only hooked on a loose piece of metal that comes thru to the front of the gas block and isnāt attached to anythingā¦
