Current project on your bench

That’s the one thing that held us back in the fight against the Gelbaster bans here in WA.

We sorta got warned that if we went down certain paths/arguments, we could unwittingly end up with Appearance Laws being bought into the legislation :astonished:

We are still lucky that we don’t have those laws here, so at least still allows us to have deactivated Gelbasters as Replica Firearms, along with real steel deactivated firearms and proper DENIX style replicas without any laws or permits required :+1:

You’re doing better than Victoria, Doc

Can’t have a damn thing without a permit down there.

Yea mate, no appearance laws here all good to go. Unlike east of me.

Buy caps at your nearest Smokemart/BP /on the run Shahin conglometry.

How about a fresh shawn sheep for an UZI  :+1: Christmas… no

The ol’ MAC-10 / Vector hybrid…

Seemed a shame to waste all that cavernous free space in the Vector handguard… the perfect location for a pressure switch activated flashlight.

Strangely, the ergos on this little frankenblaster are really good. A very comfortable cheek weld on the sliding stock puts the iron sights right in your eyeline… when they’re on, that is.

New grips for the M93r.

These both came from ebay…no B709 reqd.

The right side is a perfect fit, no mods required.

The left side is a different story…the holes dont line up.

So, chalk marked the high spot, drilled out the back of the wood grip to sit flush, and viola…

It now fits flush

I’ll have to trim the screw down a bit, so it doesn’t protrude, and hot glue it into the now empty screw hole.

Also available in Ebony…

What do you guys prefer…??

Its kinda hard to choose…

I think the brown wood grips look more natural but the white marble looks pretty schnazzy as well,

Can someone explain the physics behind why a spacer that has a inner∅ of 9.7mm doesn’t fit over a barrel with an outer∅ of 9.5mm…

I don’t want to drill it out cause then it’ll be too loose and move when fitting the outer barrel.

Just need to get a run up!
That is weird. When I print things to fit on barrels I usually allow 0.2mm and it fits pretty snug, but it fits, maybe try lube? Or freeze the barrel?

Try re zero the calipers. To see whats wrong. Why I strictly use Mitutoyo and always have so you can see the problem.

I ended up heating the plastic slightly and pressing it on.

I modeled the spacers to be 9.7id cause a lot of the time I find barrels to be like 9.4 and it’s tight but still can just be pressed on, got it on either way and it’s snug as a bug now, just gotta cut the barrel to length and the new ADAR should be finished.

Another project finished

Now what else is there to finish🤔

In the pics it looks like you got the Verniers on the piss! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I reckon that the receiver is looking way to clean and shiny in relation to your beautiful timber work.
A bit of scuffing/weathering/Patina on the receiver would be Chefs Kiss!

That’s my 2 cents anyrate seeing as you asked

Don’t you worry about that, It’ll get plenty scuffed when the owner gets their mits on it

good observation tho

Got one! Ex demo but happy to have one all the same.
Aaaand it’s going to be a project and get the full treatment! Pretty damn heavy with the eglm on it, it won’t be something I want to carry around all day!

That looks awesome! The wood style 3d printed stock is amazing. It really looks good. Thanks for showing us. :+1: :australia:

This looks awesome too! Don the ROK uniform and you’re off to the races!

Do what I do and…

EMBRACE THE UGG BOOT!

Love a good SCAR… can’t warm to the EGLM though. I prefer M203s on my SCARS, more Sgt Foley. :joy:

I got to agree with you there… more got it for the exclusivity of it. So much heavier than the 203.

If I ever get a scar-h I will have a 203 on it!

The UGG boot thing is kinda of one of those things you can’t unsee! I don’t mind it, quite comfortable and practical.
