Current project on your bench

You rang. Fit and turn into shit 7 days a week. Iā€™ll see myself outā€¦ :joy:

Ooohā€¦ lookie, @BME

Ummmmā€¦
Whatā€¦??
Whyā€¦??

Why? Because I can ā€¦ it was $2.99 at the local Silly Sollyā€™s!:rofl::rofl:

How could I not?

Itā€™s already had a big boy trigger transplant, filled, weighted and painted. :joy:

Itā€™s about the size of a Deagle.

I was wondering ā€œwhat the hell model is this.?ā€

ā€œWho released a blaster, like that.?!ā€

Any company that would deserves to go bankruptā€¦ itā€™s a shocker, absolutely nothing moves on itā€¦ not even the transplanted V2 trigger.:rofl::rofl:

It originally made a psuedo firing sound and shot sparks out of the side vents. But itā€™s one of the few full sized toy pistols you can find in the shitty stores, so I just had toā€¦ cheaper than a cafe latte.

But you know meā€¦ I like a challenge. :joy:

Point 50 AE put your fkn glsses on

Oh oh :joy: just joking fly boy :+1:

Speaking of which, I think I sent @DocBob broke on the RC trail. Well he done it to me. And hes got six plus en rout. Iā€™ve only got one. Guess itā€™ll wake up in WA time last year

Dubyay time is stuck in a perpetual 1990 loopā€¦and loving it :ok_hand::+1::joy:

Youā€™d reckon Iā€™d know betterā€¦ Picked up a stainless inner barrel from Vipertacā€™s clearance bin last weekā€¦ $7, a bit of a bargain.

Exactly the right length for my AUG, which was missing a barrel and needed one.

Powered ahead full throttle and glued it into the t piece, put it all together and ran a few Goats through the chronoā€¦ barrel jam at the t piece.

Didnā€™t measure it first, did I? 7.2mm tightboreā€¦ I never go below 7.3mm and most times stick to 7.5mm. It will work with smaller gels like WI reds, Duckā€™s Nutz and Iā€™m assuming Goat Balls once I tear the stock box down and get the FPS up near 300. Itā€™s sitting on around 240-250 nowā€¦ old piston o ring, stock spring, etc.

Looks like Iā€™m pulling that V3 apart tomorrow. At least itā€™s an easy removal :sunglasses:

My pride of my stable. Is that a LHooyie.

Always funny when your ADF mates and SAPOL start trying to pull the sling loop out of the stock to rapid disassemble  ah no but pad mate

Sure is a LH Steyr Aug. :+1:

I know there are better ones out there, but I still dig it. I thought LH did alright with theseā€¦ and I really groove on the fact that most of LHā€™s blasters feature 3-round burst. Vector, Aug, Sig 552ā€¦ :+1:

I love my LH too.

Bit of tweaking and they rock. Not such the big drama some make them out to be

More the shell, nylon body they did before anyone else won me. Plus a bullpup fanboi  :+1:

Plus I did Zehamish second fet thing I had no idea about, but he did all the how to on the old forum. I got it happening and the spaghetti I put in there wonā€™t die

I got paid out heaps for my craftmanship . Nobody else tried it think they too scared. Bloody works awesome though. Trust me Ive tried to kill it

Yeah, theyā€™re pretty cool little units. I had mine standing next to my shortie M4 build with fully retracted stock yesterday, and the AUG was still shorterā€¦ with a full length barrel. :+1:

But then, thatā€™s the whole point of a bullpup, isnā€™t it?

Was trying to figure out how to fit a battery in the SCAR SC but nothing except a 7.4v will fit, but spotted thereā€™s a little nub thing on top of the gearbox, is there any reason why I SHOULDNā€™T grind this off?

It doesnā€™t appear it interact with anything or serve any kind of purpose other than being an obstruction.

Also the t-piece is so specific they had to modify it from.l factory.

Itā€™s just a strengthening ridge, and possibly also designed to be able to run a ā€œblowbackā€ system originally, but could be trimmed just enough to fit a larger battery in thereā€¦ just donā€™t get too carried away with it!

if it was flush the entire way it wouldnā€™t be a problem, but also the battery they supply has the cables coming from the sides on the end instead of straight out, if that makes sense, and it makes it too wide to fit in the cavity, like the cells are about 20mm wide but because of the cables at the end it makes it like 25mm.

Canā€™t reroute the cables?

My bench is empty. Welp Sadge.

Nothing like shoving a battery where in shouldnā€™t go, I say! err, take from that what you will

I think about a third of my collection has been rewired and the battery put into a better / bigger / more convenient location.

This is the wayā€¦ :sunglasses:
