New t-piece from and LDT, shortened outer barrel section to clear folded stock, suppressor with AKA hopup inside. Outer barrel and suppressor to be treated to some semi-gloss black. Inner barrel to be shortened to sharpie mark
Threw the AliExpress grenade launcher on the young fellas LH hk416
but after some spam triggering by my son unrelated to the launcher, his hk416 now has an unresponsive trigger,
He likes to pretend he’s Makarov on the “No Russian” COD mission
“Remember, no Russian.”
At first I thought the battery may be flat but the mag primer is still functional so not a flat battery, so something has likey broken inside of the trigger assembly or come loose and popped off at least.
Any tips on what exactly the issue likely is and more so am I better off taking it to a shop or? Not exactly sure what specifically I should be looking for
Unfortunately gonna have to open her up to diagnose the issue.
It’s easy for me to say, but if you don’t have the experience it’s something that most people in the same situation don’t want to do.
Plenty of people here to help you out and walk through each step of the way, but it’s your decision whether to go through that lengthy process or simply pay the coin to take it to a shop.
Either way, I can guarantee that it will only be a cheap and simple repair.
Seeing BME’s S.T.A.R.S. posts reminded me that the DB Samurai Edge conversion needs a service. Ran some gels through it first and found the slide locking back on every trigger pull with a full mag.
Top slide off and a good oil with Abby silicone oil and it’s still doing it. Everything’s intact, no missing or broken springs, no visible problems with both of the two DB mags I have. But lockback every pull.
Figured out the problem with the Beretta locking back… the pissy spring that holds it down was deformed like a mofo, so I bent it back into shape… it just works.
Then the bloody thing did a BME on me and started dumping mags in full auto. Trigger bar spring knackered too.
Full replacement spring kit from iHobby getting ordered very soon. Should solve all the issues.
Any wonder I’m so keen on electric pistols these days.
