Current project on your bench

Yeah, but go ask Alec Baldwin about using real steel on movie sets…

You can see why they’d use GBBs… realistic action and a dead easy job of CGI with the report signature to time with.

Why reinvent the wheel when you don’t have to? :man_shrugging:

I know they use a/soft in tv shows…

Lower budget than Hollywood, safer etc…
But please…
Just cover the gas fill ports…!
Such a little thang…

You see it when they put a weapon down, or have a holster shot where you see the mag…

99.9. % of the population wouldn’t know or care…but when you see it…
Dang OCD…!!

Longer barrel, suppressor and hop-up for VZ

New t-piece from and LDT, shortened outer barrel section to clear folded stock, suppressor with AKA hopup inside. Outer barrel and suppressor to be treated to some semi-gloss black. Inner barrel to be shortened to sharpie mark

All i can see, is the socks and sandals…

prepare for incoming…!!

Socks and crocks - take off dirty boots and wear crocs in work room

watching Brandon Herrera’s latest vid and…

Problem, I have neither and I don’t have the pocket change to fork out for both, although I could probably 3D print the furniture without issue.

Thom-p-90-son…??
Ok…!!

PThompson90 is what they called it

Threw the AliExpress grenade launcher on the young fellas LH hk416

but after some spam triggering by my son unrelated to the launcher, his hk416 now has an unresponsive trigger,

He likes to pretend he’s Makarov on the “No Russian” COD mission :joy:

“Remember, no Russian.”

At first I thought the battery may be flat but the mag primer is still functional so not a flat battery, so something has likey broken inside of the trigger assembly or come loose and popped off at least.

Any tips on what exactly the issue likely is and more so am I better off taking it to a shop or? Not exactly sure what specifically I should be looking for

Unfortunately gonna have to open her up to diagnose the issue.

It’s easy for me to say, but if you don’t have the experience it’s something that most people in the same situation don’t want to do.

Plenty of people here to help you out and walk through each step of the way, but it’s your decision whether to go through that lengthy process or simply pay the coin to take it to a shop.

Either way, I can guarantee that it will only be a cheap and simple repair. :+1:

This thing… knowing what I know about GBB thought it best to put it to the experts. :man_shrugging:

Seeing BME’s S.T.A.R.S. posts reminded me that the DB Samurai Edge conversion needs a service. Ran some gels through it first and found the slide locking back on every trigger pull with a full mag.

Top slide off and a good oil with Abby silicone oil and it’s still doing it. Everything’s intact, no missing or broken springs, no visible problems with both of the two DB mags I have. But lockback every pull.

Does any obvious possible cause spring to mind?

Deeper notch on the slide release so it drops into a horizontal position around grips or relieving backside of catch?

(image pinched from facebook post)

Mine have never done anything like that.

Just wondering, when you fitted the hitman comp, the longer guide rod was tight.

Did you drill the hole wider, on the DB.?

Might that have any effect.?

Is it engaging the slide lock/release lever?

Looks a bit of a funky angle upwards.

current project, running a v3 from a fal. Drum mag is going the be the real headache but i have a few ideas.

Oh wow, that is impressive. Care to share more details?

not really much else to share that i can think off, i bought the gearbox in a lot and haven’t opened it up yet to check internals.

Will need to find a barrel that is long enough and can still push out a relatively high fps.

Files are paid on cults3d though, https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/mg42-airsoft-ebb-gbb-m249-rpk-pkm-m134/comments

@BME @Maiphut

Figured out the problem with the Beretta locking back… the pissy spring that holds it down was deformed like a mofo, so I bent it back into shape… it just works.

Then the bloody thing did a BME on me and started dumping mags in full auto. Trigger bar spring knackered too.

Full replacement spring kit from iHobby getting ordered very soon. Should solve all the issues.

Any wonder I’m so keen on electric pistols these days.

Psst…
Did you keep the full auto spring…??

Asking for a friend…!!

It’s still in it.

Three round burst or full auto. :joy:
