Yup…The LDT has the mag, with the fake rounds.
Its actually missing some stenciling.
I might fill it in, with white filler later…
LDT has the edge, but the Cyma is a very good copy…!
And, less than half the price…( and also available!!)
on the flip side, my Cyma M4 Sporter has been my favorite AR-pattern GB and I have a lot. Was fantstic out of the box - a true welter of nice quality, however is now in the “fix one day” pile with loose buffer tube I cannot seem to tighten enough to secure it.
Excellent, I knew your CC would have flames on it the other morning.
Get all these 3, for the price of one ‘premium’ blaster…!!
Off to get some springs and o-rings…!!
Good to see they arrived, thanks for the support!
The scar wire… That is something I will have to check for. I did test every blaster functioned before sealing and sending them out… just another thing to check I guess
The G36C did catch me off guard a bit, I was sort of expecting a similar feel to the wells ones, which were not great, and clamshell PITA to work on too.
Expecting BME’s famous reviews on them all soon
Not to worry.
It would work intermittently. If the wires happened to touch.
It wanted to sit, in the touching position. Very Touching…!! They wanted to be together…!!
Easy enough to fix, stock off, and frimly reconnect.
They may get prised apart again, if the wires get caught as you extend the stock…
And, preserved the ambi-select.!!
All still a bit nerve wracking every time you do it…but a bit less so each time.
Each blaster has its own unique little quirks…
Air seal was pathetic, o ring was more withered than squiddy’s tentacles after a hour in the rock pools, at low tide.
New o-ring, bit of grease on the gears, New M100 and all back together it goes.
I was a bit nervous to see if the semi was in the correct position / lined up properly…but it was.
Phew.
Cycles between semi and auto normally, and ambi function preserved.
I’ll call that a win, for today…
Still bloody loud though…
Yes the loudness is what we call piston hammering at the end of stroke at a good guess without laying hands on it. It’s what helps crack the front off.
Why the Wells V2 cylinder head is a good upgrade for the APS as it has a pad and 2mm extra stroke in the tappet/nozzle for the bigger gel ball.
cool.
I might have a look around, and try to find one.
Pull it apart again, radius the gearbox , and re-try…
But, another day.
Reckon i’ve used my daily quota of luck today…!!
I agree with @Maiphut on the ambi select. Ditch it.
I’ve disabled the ambi fire select on nearly all of my blasters because I ain’t a lefty.
I’d much rather have a crisp and positive right handed fire select that works than a janky amby setup that’s about as positive as Albanese when he’s being questioned about US tarrifs.
today, was about seeing if i could…
one step at a time…!!
It’s easy.
You have to take off the ambi to get the box out anyway, just don’t put it back on.
Ambi is normally fine if you don’t use it, they just aren’t designed to last for lefties.
Basically applies to all ambi blasters even those with metal cogs.
Also that you had the CYMA in the previous pic with the other two
The branding printed on is different between the them.
Weight wise, i actually prefer the cyma…
Quality wise LDT is in front…but not by much.
Value goes to the cyma, hands down…
It’s very much that Quality to Cost, do they reach a fair amount of quality for the amount you pay, typically CYMA do strike a good balance.
LDT is a bit more pricey for what they are but the quality is there.
E&C imo just seems over priced, they’re not bad quality just pricier than they probably should be.
LH is a bit over the place, they’ll have some very well priced stuff then others not so much but I wouldn’t say they’re overpriced regardless.
JG also strike a good balance of quality and cost.
