Current project on your bench

Needed a way to hide and protect the longer hop up barrel in my APC9K. Not the best colour match but figured I’d probably paint it anyway.

Looking good :+1:
As for colour matching, just give it to @BME !:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::joy:

Classic black.

50 shades of….

Rustoleum is a decent go to spray can…

Finish can be a little rough, at times though…

I just use this stuff https://www.rustoleum.com.au/product-catalog/consumer-brands/specialty/camouflage-spray-paint. It’s what I used on real steel that wasn’t worth going the whole Cerakote shebang.

Hmmm

Don’t recognize that model though.

I don’t think it’s real, some things don’t add up. Mags look 3d printed or something going on. Blob goo going on back of frame. Dunno :joy:

I meant to paint one in that scheme.

Current projects I brought up bush with me.
Unfortunately I forgot to bring the 3000W inverter to run my Soldering Iron and battery chargers!
But will do a run back to civilisation tomorrow to help out a mate and make sure to bring it back up with me.:sunglasses:

Just fitted brand new period correct replica Props with all the right markings, along with some scale model paint additions……. just gotta finish off the electronics and track down some scale replica underwing 4Lb Rockets for the Typhoon, as well as glue on a full eight Rocket set onto the Corsair that just arrived in the mail. :+1:

You got a permit for such dangerous equipment?

Hmmmmmm🤔
He uses a standard TM gbbr nozzle but it shouldn’t be hard to modify it to fit one for gel.

He’s got quite a few projects there that are interesting and almost entirely 3D printed and use standard parts, and the files aren’t that expensive either.
