Current project on your bench

Fingers crossed you can work the same magic with mine.

Hope yours is more like BME’s than mine! Either way I am sure it will get sorted!

2x Draco’s, and the 417 done over the weekend.

Hope to have a Draco video (or two) soon too.

Picture for attention :joy:

Quite in love with them!

Makeo the Draco, Shakeo, but not Breako…!!

And, not this Mako…

Does that include the population, Doc?

Seriously though, I know the humidity up here in Bananaland wreaks havoc on my guitars and other musical instruments.

During summer’s humid time, anything hanging up in a non climate controlled room needs restringing every month even if it’s not being played.

Fully understand mate, having spent a lot of time in Queensland for many years as part of the Drag Car Crew out at Willowbank Raceway and experiencing the climate compared to our famous “Dry Heat” that we have here in the Wait Awhile State.

I understand that Ipswich definitely isn’t as tropical as the further northern regions, but have also travelled all across QLD right up to the Gulf on many occasions as a kid.

Certainly much worse than Darwin, Derby, Arnhem Land, Kununurra or Gove!

I was keen on going to beemers place, but fk that I’m going to yours.  :+1:

What’s an SMG without a big fuck-off suppressor on it?

Amazing what you can make out of a $10 supersoaker from Toyworld and a 14mm CCW flash hider.

Looks mint… dammint now I am considering a longer barrel and suppressor for mine!

Gotta make sure you make it a fatty!

I kept the barrel length the same, that is the slightly longer one with the slim boy hopup, so I could switch between long and uber compact. :+1:

Cool little CQB units, these things… very tacticool. :sunglasses:

That’s a beauty! 370 fps jesus christ

Ok now I’m going to yours :joy:

Sliced my thumb prepping to do the dishes on a sharp as fuck butcher knife that was the sharp edge up so nothing will be happening until it heals as it’s sore as fuck to touch anything but upcoming projects are as follows

BF mk14 ebr electrical issue, put the new metal barrel in, went to shoot and it ceased and fried the battery. Thorough investigation required, list of things to check graciously provided by friendly

Scar H, went to test it and got halfway through a mag then it slowed down before ceasing, smelt an electrical burning smell. Thorough investigation required, friendly’s checklist will be applied

Wells mp5k gbb just clicks and fails to cycle, was working last time I used it but has sat in the cupboard for about a year or so unused, thorough investigation required, that’ll be fun

AK-47 mock charging handle snapped in transport in its case when I went to see my kids over Easter so need to glue it back together as replacement probably not as option, shan’t be difficult with the right adhesive

M92 baretta electric pistol needs a new mostfet installed, that will be a challenge as it will be quite fiddly to install with my fiddle fingers, can get the replacement for $5 but requires a few other purchases to justify the postage costs so will stay on the back burner for now

Then I need to finish stabilising the barrel in my ZH m249 saw, but will probably swap barrels again as the metal barrel has a 7.3 or 7.4mm inner barrel, might get a 7.5mm and swap it to avoid any jams

Happy days :roll_eyes::joy::joy:

You’ll sort 'em out… not having a lot of luck with these things, are ya matey? :person_shrugging:

Feel free to yell out if you need a hand with anything. There’s just a V2 with metal gears in those SCAR Hs, this should help you out with it…

Gel blasters… forever working on 'em and that’s the reason why I’ve slimmed down to only two CYMA M4s (bulletproof), a damn fine CYMA G36C, a bunch of cool little SMGs and one EBB pistol.

Cos time on the bench fettling blasters is time away from other stuff I’d rather be doing.

Was just talking to a mate having continual issues with his blasters about the same thing, for the folk that don’t have allot of time or experience there’s certainly value in keeping the same or similar blasters. I’ve got 2 CYMA’s and now this new LDT LDX box. Also have an SRC but if that shits the bed one more time I’m going to wrap it around a tree

Funny - just been rationalising my blasters now my skirmish opportunties are limited

Core group includes 3 CYMAs. Amazing how they are good old work horses

Yeah, those metal CYMA V2s have got to be one of the most reliable gearboxes around. :+1:

The two M4s I have are hybrids… full metal lowers with nylon uppers in different configs and they’re great. I also have a full metal M16A1 upper in CAR-15 config that I can swap onto my M4 CQB lower to change it up to Vietnam era spec. Like Lego for adults.

I’d be betting that the gas valve on the Mag of the GBB has dried out in storage and become sticky.

A bit of disassembling, some silicone oil and a bit of operating should get it firing again.:+1:

I’m not sure it’s the mag valve, it doesn’t seem to be leaking when I refilled it but I bought a few spare ones from ausgel on special, so might just change it in the name of science :test_tube:

What he means is it’s doing the opposite of leaking and the valve is getting stuck closed.

Need something else to do. CYMA’s don’t break and I have 3 spare gearboxes
ACR/R gearbox needs a rebuild with new metal gears
Time to get rid of the blasters I haven’t used for 6 months

Need an X-95 to build
t-238 mosfet for AUG
t-238 basic for CYMA
P226 and CZ75 would finish pistol collection
