I generally always have a couple t238 basic v2s if you need, though post from t238.net is usually about 8 days.
I think I have a vector/aug get sitting here too!
I do have a t238 V3 Bluetooth I have been meaning to put in my JG aug for ages to see if it works as an AUG trigger is meant to given they have no selector plate… hoping to get to it soon, one of the many things that’s been my stuff on my to do pile for ages!
Decided that the drum mag for the UZI was pretty superfluous… not a fan of drum mags at the best of times, but bigarse drums on small SMGs really do my head in.
So out with the handtools, a lot of hacksawing, filing, drilling, head scratching, a shitload of lateral thinking and the UZI mag is now a Vector drum mag. It came out much better than expected.
Obviously lost a stick mag in the process but no biggie… they’re readily available, single drums are not. It’s not as tucked in as the OG double drum (not a fan of those, too wide for mine) but still retains all it’s functions, primes, feeds flawlessly and fitment is solid as a rock…
I may go back in and remove the motor and gearing that drives the rotating plate… or I might not. It does look cool on three round burst seeing that plate spinning up.
Also considering taking advantage of all the internal room and wiring switchable UV LEDs into it to light up tracer gels.
That used to be one of my little side gigs, turning ordinary mags into Glow Mags when none were available for the particular model I was given to work on.
Still got a 5m strip of Waterproof UV LEDs sitting around in a box somewhere.
Top notch work on that drum and adding glow switching function will just finish it off perfectly!
Well overdue for a service and only hitting around 120FPS… significant drop considering I had it up over 330 a year or so ago… when it was new it was 300.
Fitted o rings in place of the crapped out nylon gland packers, with a bit of oil the bolt action’s smoother than a pornstar’s livelihood. Took a lot of play out of it too so much better seal at the shnozzle, for shizzle.
The piston spring’s tired and the seal’s knackered… any 11mm spring will fit it so any replacement sniper spring should fit. Maybe an M130 to give it some zing. The seal’s a different story but I’ll figure that out. Never say die, I say.
As it is now it’s hitting back up around 260FPS and it can only get better from there so worth grafting a pic rail onto the top for a faux scope. The original rail ended up under the handguard of Shadow’s ACR, I believe.
Pic rail’s on… cos… fuckit, I’m too impatient to sit around and can’t wait for shit.
Hacked the top pic rail off a clapped out nylon M4 receiver upper and attached it using the existing M3 mounting holes. Good enough for the plastic scope that’s on it… and free.
