Current project on your bench

I tried winding it by hand without spring in whilst holding things in place as much as possible and it did feel a little crunchy/grindy despite fresh grease. Hard to know if I got the shimming right but not sure that’s the issue

Forgot to drop the spring size tho, have to see if I have a lighter spring somewhere, think I have an m95 somewhere, otherwise I’ll probably have to try one of the older springs I’ve got floating around that were taken out of something else I upgraded the spring in

With no gears connected to the motor it seems to work with the battery connected pulling the trigger switch

Will have to try another day as I’m about to get ready to work a shift in the truck tonight, but I’ll see how I go

Thanks for the tips

@Wizard

Is the X95 spring a smaller diameter than a standard spring as well as shorter? :thinking:

Just a little well-meaning advice for your content creation too… lighting’s really important but not as important as your background. A highly detailed busy background makes it very hard for the camera to see what’s in the foreground.

If you’re filming for a channel and really want the subject to pop, a plain background like green or black makes it much easier for the viewer to see what’s in front of the camera.

Green’s very good… card table felt’s great because it doesn’t bounce light back. :+1:

Definitely shouldn’t feel anything like that.

Back to square one, matey. Strip it and reshim. :person_shrugging:

You’ll be right… you’ll suss it out. :+1:

Paitience and perserverance, matey. :ok_hand:

Yeah just need to get a shim kit in case I need more than what it already had, and a decent sleep prior to messing with it :joy:, didn’t get home til 7am and gotta work again tonight :sweat_smile::roll_eyes:

Yea. Very proprietary thing.

Too late, I already spent too much on tactical stickers

Значит, я уже давно мужчина! :rofl:

Добавь в водку Калуа, и ты говоришь на моём языке! :+1:

Aussie humour, matey. :rofl:

You’ll be right. :+1::wink:

Yeah that’s pretty standard except when I was hitting the big smoke in the late 80’s/early 90’s where a “Black Russian” somehow devolved into Vodka and Coke at all the Pubs and Nightclubs.:roll_eyes:

Pretty shitty outcome when ordering one, but couldn’t argue with the bar wench when the line at the bar was 10 deep and couldn’t talk above the sound of the live band anyrate!:smile:

Do they still sell “Stoli’s”?
Haven’t heard or seen that brand for a very long time.:thinking:

Seen it in Liqour stores but haven’t really been to venues last decade much. They used to be on special when I was younger in the clubs.

Start off with Stoli’s, by about the 10th one be something like strrrollies on order :rofl: :+1:
