That won’t fit an AEG or an AR15 style receiver unfortunately.
Looks nice though.

which filler/ primer is that.?
Supercheap branded, or something else.?
I might use my tamiya primer, to cover some mould patches in the ceiling, from a bit of water damage…!!
This stuff
Only got the Tamiya stuff cause I couldn’t find the can I had and I was already in the shop.
Umm wtf are we doing here. Building houses or what haha

That’s the actual kit but still won’t fit an AEG, thats for a GBBR so would fit my GE M4. The stock at least, handguard would fit otherwise.
Box or parts showed up today from TE, with a barrel for the ADAR
Suppose to be 7.5mm, as labelled.
Got another spare barrel that was on the same page but 40cm…
Subtle sent on t-piece side and another on the other end, either way that’s the wrong barrel, afaik DB are the only ones that use 8.5mm barrels and I’ve only ever seen stainless…
Neither of these barrels were reduced or on any sale so paying full price I’d expect them to be as listed.
a bit of water, leaked from the ceiling, into the roof.
water stain appeared, and some mold.
Leak has been fixed, now time to repair the ceiling.
washed it with mildy bleached water, via a sponge mop. Dried.
Mold is now gone…but the water stained marks remains.
I was told to use some primer, so the mold doesn’t grow out again through the paint.
Bunnings spray primer…is $30 a can.
For just one small-ish job.
As happenstance would have it, i have a lil bit of white Tamiya primer left…
cant hurt, right.? white paint on top…
Just like painting a model house…!!

Bugger…
went to supacheap, and grabbed some primer.
I didnt look too hard…turns out it was acrylic primer, not plastic primer…
shouldn’t make too much of a difference, i hope.?.?

Acrylic is a type of plastic ain’t it ![]()
Yes I get you. Is the interior roof fully dry? Like in the crawl space or whatever gap you have between the outer and interior including insulation.
Otherwise if any of that is still damp, it may not work. Rub that mold back and make sure it’s dry then it might work. Dunno, not there.
Acrylic is water based I thought and a bit fragile. Ok in some situations. Maybe not roofs that need more like lacquer paint.
But hey wtf do I know, nothing.
I know Beemer, lets hit it with 2k primer then 5 coats of 4k clear. That’ll sort it out, park it in the sun for a day or 2 to cook it.
Oh wait that was my car that I did

Acrylic paint typically is, the material is a type of plastic, that’s what I was getting at, in a joking manner, like it probably won’t make a difference so why not.
yeah… primer is primer, after all…
it might just stick bit better , to other materials…no biggy either way…
Stencil came out alright, hardest part was finding a suitable print to use, most of the decent ones were behind paywalls.
Just waiting on the base coat to dry proper before I try sticking them on.
I was having a joke too. All in good fun.
What shade was it again?
oh crap what have I done
![]()
50 shades, of white on the wall…
I’ll only see it every day, if i get it wrong…!!

so TE got back to me after emailing them about the barrels, they reckon all the barrels they had of those lengths were the same so offered me a refund.
So if you’re gonna order barrels from TE be aware they’re not to the spec they have listed. Not sure if they’re going to correct the website but probably not unless they get a number of ppl complaining.
It’s hard now that they don’t have a brick and mortar store to be able to physically see the items before purchase
Oh welll at least a refund is a refund…
That counts as a win, for you.!
Nothing back yet from azraels….despite multiple emails.
Hard avoid from here on in….
Taking people’s money, and not sending anything or communicating, is scammer level behaviour…
Would there be enough ppl you reckon to get a class action or whatever it’s called that the ACCC can do?
