R.E. Wesker...(Or.. Bad boys,Bad boys.. watcha gonna Glue..?)

Police up here have .40 Smith if they are using their duty weapon

Do you shoot at Murrumba…??

I’m only going off the info, from one phone call, to one person there…

They said the rules may be changing soon.

Seems silly, saying yes to .38 and no to 9mm (especially because its so common).

According to wikipedia, .38 powerwise goes up to around 300 ft/lbs, whereas 9mm goes up to around 350-500 ft/lbs…

Who knows , their trainset…

Sorry. I shoot at one of the Belmont outdoor club ranges. Generally 9mm or .38/.357. Can even use the .357 Rossi lever

I have a few mates who won’t shoot at Murumba because of the restrictions on what they allow… and the fact that a lit of coppers shoot up there.

For me, it’ll likely be just comp target shooting, .22lr, so the caliber restriction’s no heartache for me… for now.

If i get my cat H, ill go the whole hog, and do a custom Burton build…
Maybe a robocop too…!!

Wont that be fun, getting those parts in from the states…!!

But, it all comes down to how easy is it, to maintain your license…

Down the coast, very easy with GCPC, but up here, restricted hours make it harder…

Restricted calibres, i just ask “Why!!!”…

A bit off putting, when it could be so easy…

What about Rothwell Professional Industry Indoor Pistol Club?

Haven’t been there so can’t comment

will have to look into it…

So what happens with my .38 special rounds loaded to .357mag(slightly lengthened .38 special cases) pressures which if you know what you are doing and remain in your delivery systems specs blows 9mm out the water everyday all day son.

9MM is piss weak. Always has been and always will be. Economic yes. If not then why design maximum over pressure rounds to run certain ones like your favourite Luger that will blow apart a Browning High Power in short order. The Israeli’s made 158grn special overpressure 9mm for IDF issued UZI. Why, to get more effect from the round. The Owen SMG even had it’s specific OP ammo so it could actually run in the jungles. Put that in a pistol will blow it to pieces with a slide in your face. :+1:

My point being is laws are fkd up these days. Yes I am replying to myself

Younger people don’t understand the physics and never will. Why you ask… never had a chance to proove… why you ask because the gov trys to regulate because of one dickhead.

Fed Gov has not got time or patience to regulate evenly across Aus. They cant, they tried but all states argued with each other. This is why nothing gets done.

I know from experience, guess I’m one of the lucky ones. :+1:

Been thinking about this @BME yea watch out

All I can come up with is range restrictions. They don’t want semi auto. Like you say the other range does all like the one I used to go to. It might and likely is part of their insurance and approval. Which is another whole can of wtf  :+1:

.38 is a shorter .357, 9mm is shorter again for compactness with a more robust case at higher pressure.

If you’ve actually used all the above, you will see the difference. 38 special was downloaded after transitioning from the black powder to smokeless but that was 100 years ago. With modern powder and delivery system. Watch out

Try a Coonan 357 on for size. Now they are a crowd pleaser  :+1: and much better than the Desert Eagle by far.

How often do you see a 2" barreled 9mm. Never, why because they need the extra length to gain the pressure from the powder. Be really useless if that short. Not discarding 9mm it is very good and why been in use nearly as long as 38. But I fail to see logic but it is what ever they dream up these days and you have to roll with it :person_shrugging:

Who knows why they have these restrictions.

It is probably based, not on numbers and science, but appeasing somebody.

Wether that somebody is a lawyer, insurance company, or someone else.

Perhaps, to get approval for a range in close proximity to a populous area, they agreed to a " perceived lower calibre limit", to limit power /noise.

Who knows.

Maybe they’ll lift the restriction, but it is very annoying…

Rothwell indoor range had a case of lead poisoning with one of its employees, not that long back…

It would be something like that. Confusing to me as 38 is larger caliber than 9mm. But anywho, what would I know

Some of my ex clubs ranges were restricted but that was mainly due to backstops, targets and distance. Some were 22 only, some centrefire pistol, some ISU then rifle range only, shotgun only etc. Mind you that club is next door to the Army range where they practice live hand grenades, MAG volley fire and 40mm. Their booms were bigger than ours

Gets more restricted as time goes on until eventually there will be none unless your name is Choppa

Wesker update…

I’ve sanded, and painted the 3d kit bits…

Reasonably happy with the paint result.
Sanded the buggery out of the Nozzle adaptor, so no lines there.
A few lines on the Supp, but it looks like “manufacturing method lines”.

I still need to dremel out some of the inside of the nozzle,so it will fit on whatever blaster i end up using.

This is the (sold out) KEle m92, dusty chrome, manual.

For the “proper” Wesker base blaster, the Double Bell doesn’t fit, its too wide.

The wesker needs to be:

-Chrome receiver / chrome barrel / black slide / narrow lower receiver.

I could sandblast the above M92 slide, and paint it black, but i really dont wanna destroy such a purdy blaster, unless i can get a replacement. The other black slides on the other KEle’s dont fit.

Another option is the Elec blow back M92’s from AKgelblaster.
I know they sell the new v6 in black.
I wonder if they sell proper metal chrome ones in v6?

@AKgelblaster , do they.?
And, can you swap slides on the two.? ( Black slide / chrome lower)?

Cheapest thing to do, is just get another KEle M92 chrome, and massacre it, if they get them in again.

They should, they’re cheap, and popular, judging by how quickly they sold out.

Had fun painting the supp, masked and painted the silver first.
covered it with the “green masking goop”…
Thats fun, to get on accurately…use a tiny paint brush…
Then, several coats of matte black rustoleum…

All in all, lines were pretty good.

@Friendly_Fire supp was actually pretty close… just wider and a bit longer.
Not surprising, considering it was going on a vector…

Do you mean the compatibility of the v6 and v4? I think yes. But need to double confirm.
Personably I like the biohazard style one.

What i mean is,
If i got 2 new V6’s (all Metal)

a) Do they make them in All Metal Chrome as well.?
b) would a black V6 upper slide, go on a Chrome v6 lower.?

Those biohazard grips, make everything look good…

You should “stock em and sell em”…

Show them as an option, on some of your M92 photos on your website…

I am not sure now. But I will take some time to check it out this weekend.

For the biohazard, Tokyo Marui has the GBB version. MLF has EBB version. Would GBB or EBB be more preferred from a player perspective?

For Australia, its all about Gel blasters.

T.M dont make a gelblaster GBB.
MLF is a standard EBB gelblaster, with Biohazard grips fitted.

The MLF is allowed into OZ, with a b709, and would have better performance than the KEle model , i showed above…
