Marui accrssories tend to only fit Marui, as well. Might not include Beretta grips but you never really know with Marui.
Spoke to xforce, more KEle berettas coming.
If i had the slide on the KEle sandblasted, what would be the best way to paint it.?
It would need to be fairly robust, to withstand handling, and pulling / manual cycling forces…
I think some versions of Tokyo marui GBB is relatively “convertible” to gel blasters. But I need to get the gel blaster specific parts made. Not sure if CNC 6061 is a good material. I hope their internals are interchangeable In most of their GBB.
If you could get, genuine Tokyo Mauri GBB gel blasters,
In Biohazard theme…
You would sell truckloads in Australia.
They brought in WE tech models, and they sold out instantly.
People have been asking for more, but they haven’t brought any more in.
That is why, i have mucked around, with Double Bell’s converting them.
Please, look into it…
Ok, a bit of dremel work to get the L nozzle adaptor, to fit.
Had to make the barrel opening a bit taller to fit, and remove some of the rear guides, so it doesn’t angle down.
The airsoft is intimate fit of adaptor onto the blaster, this 3d print is not.
It does have one screw hole in the bottom, so i’ll have to drill a hole into the bottom of whatever blaster i use, for retention. Also, fill it with a soft foam, to bulk it out, fill the gap, and stop any loose sloppy movements ( easy, @maiphut) !!
Like wise, the Supp is not an intimate fit, its loose as well.
I did want to have the Supp being removable, but i might ultimately have to araldite it on, when its aligned properly…
If i use a KEle as a base blaster, i’ll have the upper slide cerakoted semi gloss black, so it looks the part…
3 different grip possibilities…
1: Burton grips…
2: std black emblem…
3: Real wood/ blue emblem…
The torch i’ve used previously is light enough (boom boom), and can be supported by the 3d print L adaptor…i’ll grab one of those, for this…
Getting close…!!
Looking good! nice work
Finally took the KEle beretta, to mr cerakote guy, at caboolture…
He’s very busy and hard to get a hold of, but saw him this morning, and dropped it off…
Who knew, there were so many shades of black.?.?
Picked one, that was fairly close to the supp/nozzle (rustoleum black) colour, so it mostly matches. Get the upper slide cerakoted black.
Hope to have it back before xmas, he has the military contract, and does a lot of their weapons/ knives.
Once its done, get the supp on ( a bit of adjustment required), and grab another torch…
Xforce should be getting new KEle’s in soon…the smoky silver looks horn…
Just out of interest too, for others knowledge…
@AKgelblaster has had problems getting metal blasters out of china.
I was trying to import metal elec M92f, to use for base blaster for this, and the MLF robocop kit.
Customs kept rejecting the metal blaster, even when it was pulled to bits.
It failed the “Density test”.
Nylon appears to be ok, as the tec-9 got through, and the sten? who knows.
Maybe they had some recent changes to their customs processes…??
Anyway, nylon gear hopefully should be ok going forward, just be wary of metal pistols…
Fingers crossed…!!
Yes, @AKgelblaster said was having trouble sending that, my APC-9k was sent without motor and small accessories in the package, with B709 number in the box. Hopefully that works. So far so good. It is just a nylon blaster though so “density test” won’t be a thing.
It is almost an Australia Exclusive issue, due to the transport that gets it here. Rest of the world has less issues and can send entire blasters. Still less issues that some local retailers lol! And it is a blaster that is not available locally at this time so happy to deal with it.
Finger crossed!
Wooo-Boy.
Ok, here i go…
I figured out, what happened with the gen 2 silver smoky KEle’s
They ran the 2nd batch, off the gen 1 black frame model.
I’ll explain…
When i fist started the whole wesker thing, i was looking for beretta models of black/silver that could interchange slides.
I had purchased a gen1 silver KEle, was very happy with the finish / metal trigger and levers, and looked at the black model as well, for a slide swap.
The black model was running a different frame, and the two slides / frames were incompatible.
This lead me to cerakoting the gen 1 silver slide to black, to use instead.
Having modified my gen1 silver, and liking the original a lot, i purchased another one when they came back in stock. When i received it (yesterday) i noticed the finish wasn’t as good, trigger and levers were black plastic( yuk) and was quite dissapointed.
This morning i woke up, and compared it to the black KEle.
Guess what, same frame / same slide.!
Thats why the plastic remained.
Great, i thought , compatible slides / frames, i can finish off my wesker 2day…!!
Wrong…the gen2 frame is wider than the gen 1, and the Wesker Nozzle doesn’t fit.
To clarify, i only had to fettle minimal material off, to fit the nozzle onto the gen 1 silver, and it did fit perfectly.
The new frame is too wide, and it doesn’t fit. You would have to remove a hell of a lot of material to make it to fit, and likely risk perferation.
So…GEN 1 silver KEle is the bomb, the best choice to fit a wesker nozzle/supp, and i hope the cerakoting works well…
In the meantime, here are some combo photos…( poor morning light)…
Wesker model / colours.
This side has the slim RE grips. They make anything look good…
Having problems fitting the slim grips, onto the KEle, on this side.
I would have to fettle away material on the inside of the RE grips.
Burton wide grips fit normally though…what do you guys think looks better.?
Nozzle nowhere near going on…the frame is too wide…you would have to massacre the nozzle, and leave the weak material very thin…asking for a perf / handling breakage…
Good colour match to the slide though…
These photos arent the best, but the silver finish isnt as good…the gen 1 was strikingly eye catching, and gleamy…
This is the photo of the other frankenblaster, which resulted from the slide swap. The grips here were a different make, imported from overseas. I used a different stain on it… i like the result, and engravings on the wood.
Same pistol, with RE grips…
They make anything look good…i reckon it breaks up the tri colour, being mostly black with wood edging…
Finally, comparo of the the two tri colour, frankenblasters…
And, the two KEle’s , side by side…
I have a real Beretta problem…
I’m running out of RE grips…!!
Heres hoping i get the cerakote back, before xmas…
Some outside / full daylight shots…
Frankenblaster looks good in RE grips / different KEle silver…its growing on me…
Full sunlight razzle dazzle…!!
I trimmed down an older worn set of RE grips, to properly fit the KEle.
Naked Wesker blaster, to remain forever SUPP-less…
I reckon they both look the goods…!
I reckon all the grips look amazing!
The Pistols obviously just as awesome, especially the pics in good sunlight look much better
Those RE grips, suit any combo, and make them look good…
Mostly black , with just a hint of timber, goes well with either black / chrome.
I’m going to order several more pairs, from overseas again…
Can’t keep up.!
I woke up at 3:30 am, couldn’t get back to sleep, and the thought crossed my mind then…
Me too… but it wasn’t RE grips and Berettas going through my mind…
Megan Fox featured heavily in, it I believe…
"oh yeah baby, gap those plugs,
aaaghhhh … giggity"
nice Adams apple Megan
