Oh come on man. A pair of vertical grips for the forend and the pistol grip on to the pic rails and you’re good to go :+1:

You looked at a Tikka? They are very good that’s for sure but have a long action. One of the glassiest actions I’ve ever tried. Tikka are owned by Sako these days afaik.

Very quick look…

i went there, today, t look at the.22mag…

223 can wait , for awhile…

Some reading in the meantime… Tikka T3x Lite in 223 Rem - in depth rifle review (rifleshootermagazine.co.uk)

Another furniture kit…!!

I didnt realise, there was so much cross dressing, going on…!!

This one has a removable storage cylinder, in the stock, for holding ammo…

Pretty cheap kit too, much less than what you would expect to pay for Gelblaster parts!

What, real steel cheaper, than gel.??

Tell me it isn’t so…!!

I’m looking forward to getting this, it looks like a fun little plinker…

A red dot and furniture kit, should dress it up nicely…!

Look forward to the review :+1:

If im importing a kit from the states…

While i’m at it, may as well " Add to Cart"…!!

Sorry @Bikersmurf , i couldn’t resist…!!

I knew i had one…

I remember buying this, several years back, and never installing it.
I seem to remember buying it off ebay, so it may be a “fake” bushnell.

I hadn’t used a red dot before, and was going to give it a go.
Its Red / Green crosshair.

The issue was, even with the the “scope” laying stationary of a bench, as you move your head around, the cross hairs moved around as well.

I.e if you were going to shoulder a rifle, and move your head in , both eyes open, the crosshairs noticeably move.

Is this parralex error? Do all red dots do this, or is this just chinese junk?

I remember seeing it, and thinking " i wont even waste my time fitting this, if it just moves all over the place…"

It is parallax error and the amount you get depends on the mechanics of how the red dot is set up inside to the glass.
General rule of thumb cheaper ones have more parallex.
That does look like a knock off Bushnell rds. Bushnell Red/Green Dot Gel Blaster Sight 1x40 - X-Force Tactical

These are good value for $ atm Burris RT-1 Red Dot Sight | C&S Sporting Arms (candssportingarms.com)

They all do it to varying degrees depending how they are made.

The joys of living near Cleaver…

5 mins, and $165 later…
Bushnell TRS 25.

The first one, is utter chinese garbage.
Like i said, i seem to remember buying it of ebay, for around $60 as a bushnell, when the no brand cheapys were around $30…

Of course its non genuine…bloody flea-bay…!!
I wont waste my time posting a video, but stationary on a bench / moving your head only…

It dances around like a ballerina at a Beethoven concert.!!
Good luck, getting any form of accuracy, out of that!
The size was good, the field of view good, but if it doesn’t work…

Put it on a gelblaster instead.!
The two innacuracies, might cancel each other out!!

This is my precision setup, for long range gel sniping…!!

But seriously, the genuine bushnell is much better.

It is smaller ( good for the chiappa), though it does have a smaller field of view, being smaller diameter.
The pricepoint is right too, for the intended rifle.

Now, just wait for that PTA, to arrive.

Also, would i need a PTA, for importing a furniture kit, that has no firearm action related parts.??
The only thing that concerns me , is the threaded end barrel cap…
But threaded barrels are legal in QLD, for muzzle breaks etc…
