Funnily I still am good friends and in contact with one of them. He is currently flat out working at a mine up north and barely sees his current wife and teenage daughter. Pulling the coin to keep his wife and daughter housed, schooled, fed and all bills paid.
I think the turning point was when I lived with him as rental housemates and he was swinging off the back of a garbage truck and had a beat up HG Kingswood that was a pos. Never had money. I was full time after finishing my apprenticeship, had a new dirtbike, 2 year old VP commodore ute that was a real good car.
He stared me in the face one day, I want what you got. All I said stop blowing money on the gunja, and just go to work. He had skills. I said you can do better than a shitty garbage truck I can see it. Next week he started working at a foundry, then a better one, then transport, now mining earning hollywood money that mostly goes to blabanese retirement home

Then it went batshit crazy, wiped out a stoby pole, got extricated from the demolished car, disappeared, her son and father ring me for months trying to find her which I couldn’t either.
So I did this 
I give up. Especially after her nurse friend rang me and abused fuck out of me for causing it all. All I did was try to contact for 3 months left msgs and had no responce. WTF did I do wrong, how am I meant to help when ex communicade`

I watched my sister go to hell in a handbag, with drugs.
Started with smoking pot…gateway drug.
She was doing that in high school.
Fell in with the wrong crowd, and things went south very quickly.
Within a short period of time…addicted to heroin.
Long story short, she and her petty crim boyfriend got busted…on the run from the police.
He was driving, doin 120 in a 60 zone, the wrong way , up a one way street.
He had a stolen police revolver on him. He gave it to my sister, as she had a clean criminal record at the time…what a charmer…
She was 21 and looking at serious jail time. Dad had to intervene, take her away to the island resort ( isolated from all her f/wit mates) weekly drug tests and serve her sentence there. The argument was prison would have been a worse environment for her. Judge agreed and allowed it.
So, i saw how quickly here life unravelled…and how she simply could not stop taking drugs, despite all the negative consequences.
Not for me, and not the type of life i want for myself…so no interest, at all, ever.
If your going to be any form of -holic, may as well be a workaholic…at least you get the coin…!!

Yea I recently had to deal with a now ex cousin, spiralled out of control on any and all class A’s and is basicly a thug. I can’t risk speaking to him, I’ve got too much too loose. Plus what he did to his Father is unforgivable. He knows it too and knows I don’t f around so he, thankfully, hasn’t attempted contact. Wouldn’t want to either.

Requiem is back to the ‘survival horror’ genre…grace is defs weaker, softer and worse at combat. constant dread, barely survivng each encounter…never enough bullets.

I think it was that Village one I had a go at some years ago and I hated it, stopped playing after 20mins. It was too scripted and I couldn’t even work out how to get through a first challenge or something iirc It was too dark and I think was like first person or something but like a slideshow type or what ever you call it.
