the scale was fine for me.

anyone know if owning the 1:3 scale goat guns are ok?

To the best of my knowledge, yeah. They’re too small to qualify for appearance laws, and they don’t fire any form of projectile. That puts them in the clear for WA, NSW, Vic, Qld, and Tas. I’m not sure on NT or ACT’s laws.

Hey , @DocBob …should you be serious about going to " The Dart Side",

I have something for you to consider…
My position on Aliens pulse rifles, is well know,.

When nerf released them locally, i bought several .
I was looking at onselling an unopened one later, or converting it to gel.

I think the gel conversion would prove a bit too fiddly, so its probably best to go nuts, nerfing it up in a big way…

Performance is anaemic OOTB, but that can be fixed…

Perhaps, this is the Nerf Nudge, you Needed.?.?

would you be interested…??

A first project, to lose your Nerfginity.?.?

I was curious about the GoatGuns importation too.

i saw some gun shops in QLD selling them but i can’t remember if they said they were ok in NSW.

When in doubt, give the cops a shout.

Probably should have done that when i ordered some apex legends weapons keyrings… it got checked by customs

Infant sized guns, so dangerous.

oh yes, so lethal.

Thanks for the kind offer @BME :+1:

I might just take you up on this…… what the heck, might actually be good as a project to keep my inquisitive mind busy for a while! :joy:

Cool.
DM for details, when you are ready…!
No rush…
At least ordering nerf bits, to WA…won’t bat an eyelid…
:grinning::grinning:

cough cough… ahem

I’ve got a pimped up Stryfe kicking around downstairs somewhere. Was considering upgrading the motors and flywheels to something more huge, but I can’t get past the noise.

There’s no such thing as stealth with a flywheel Nerf

Ive got a bagfull, of older upgraded nerf blasters…
Haven’t touched them for years…

Any newer / quieter technology…for replacing flywheels…??!

Nope… the upgraded motors still sound like a hairdryer on steroids

Springers… the only way to go. :+1:

Yeah, it’s the insane amount of noise that flywheel blasters pump out that is a big problem.

I have a few ideas on how to possibly quieten them down somewhat, but would be plenty of research and a steep learning curve for something that I have never done before

The ideas are there, but putting them together in practice for testing/improving is another kettle of fish altogether.

do an HPA conversion LUL
