And you wonder why I stuck with V2. I did not want more than 300fps as if you have been mag dumped in the face it kinda hurts.
Function over performance. For me anyway ![]()

So itâs finally arrived? ![]()
I ordered it on the 14th June, arrived todayâŚ
I noticed ihobby is sold out of the standard tec 9

Probably wonât be until tomorrow, Iâm at work ATM sorry
So the tactical tec-9 variant came packaged much more appropriately this time
Bubble wrapped to perfection
The tactical tec-9 in itâs final form
I definitely like this version more than my gold one
So the stock is nice and solid, has a good weight to it and is extendable
The muzzle unfortunately has no inner barrel to assist the gels coming out so there wouldnât be any gain in fps, but it looks pretty dope with it
Looks very nice, like a slim PDW style 9mm
The stock slots on and is nice and sturd, no slop or wobble.
not sure if itâs possible to use it on anything else.
The sight has a red crosshair, nothing special but a nice touch I guess
Looks pretty good without the stock as well
And I donât mind the red trimmings
All in all Iâm pretty happy with it, low fps sucks but this was merely for nostalgic value.
Hopefully weâll get gas ones soon ![]()
âA bit of lob and itâll make 30 pacesâ⌠![]()
Not a stellar performer, hey? ![]()
It was a bit of a shitbox in the real steel arena, why would the blaster be any different? ![]()
ihobby were selling these for $79, around May this yearâŚstill are!!!
$129âŚ. hmmmmâŚâinflationââŚ!!!
âCost of Lobbingâ crisisâŚmust be linked to insurance premiumsâŚ!!
![]()
On the other hand ![]()
50 bucks is 50 bucksâŚ
Whoâs to say they didnât buy them in bulk from ihobby and have now marked them up over 50%
Canât blame them too much tho, the overheads to keep their store couldnât be cheap
Command elite hobbies had them for $75 a short while ago, theyâve sold out since and removed the listing
This is trueâŚ
ButâŚ
A bit harder to sell, when ihobby have em for 40% cheaperâŚ
But, that assumes a savvy shopper, who shops aroundâŚ
Doesnât stop GB you know who ![]()

Rhymes with âpooâ

Ah, they all do it⌠buy cheap and mark up for profit. But theyâre not a charity group, I guess. Gotta make money to keep the lights on. ![]()
Even the better ones mark up the same item that they sold for less six months ago⌠even the one that ryhmes with âSpecs Source Opticalâ. ![]()
Yeah true, trueâŚ
But some more within reason than othersâŚ
But optical doesnât rhyme with practical ![]()

Iâm sure most of them would be more reasonable if bricks and mortar rent was not such a rip off. ![]()
I just paid my land tax today.
Most landlords get called " greedy" and "ripoff " etcâŚbutâŚ
I can tell you, of the rent you collect, a lot goes in taxes and charges.
Company tax, land tax, rates, landlord insurance, property management, repairsâŚ
If you get half of the rent you recieve, your doing well.
And, thats if you own it outright, and arenât paying interest to a bank.
The two biggest grabbers are the Govt, and the banksâŚ
But yes, rent is a big cost of running a bricks and mortar buisnessâŚ
