The Shit Pit

Naw, i’d give china the flick.

They pay well, but “fine you” , for breaches of SOP’s etc…trying to claw money back.

US is where i would consider going, tax varies from state to state, crime is a problem, but you can choose to be based in safer states.

The market may change in a few years time, but right now, the priority is looking after Mum.

I’d need to be careful telling trump jokes over there, half the people would laugh, the other half would want to shoot me…!!

And, lets not forget the airsoft / gelsoft / real steel fun to be had…!!

Surely you can carry your own PPK and shoot back

Oh and don’t go to the UK either they are taxed even more than AU.

Have you seen the size, of some of the yanks.?!

I doubt a 9mm would penetrate, all that “ballistic gel”, to hit something vital…!!

Might need, a Deagle, in the glovebox…!!

Just checked my lotto ticket, won $79, so still in front…!

She is the misses daughter from previous marriage plus three sons.
Australia’s tax law changed when Christopher skase did the bolt with all his money.
Now the high end tax evaders 500k plus are given 24 hours to settle dept.
They are being watched in that 24 hour period to see if they try to hide assets.
If so all there accounts and assets are frozen here and abroad.
And then the marshals turn up within three hours to evict you and secure home and cars.
Then you are either arrested given a court date.
Before you were given notice of pending prosecution which gave you time to flee or hide assets .
Now you have nothing and have to fund your court costs from hidden cash as you are not eligible for legal aid.
Australian tax department is in the top 10 ruthless organisation.
The IRS is ranked 20.
This of course is the worst scenario
Surprisingly she said this happens at least once a fortnight.
99%of these people are just criminal’s who have ripped of people
Just to improve there lifestyles.
I have no sympathy for them

Bloody ATO.

I just went to the bank, and spoke to my accountant.
Guess what, extra tax bill…

When mum made the decision, to disown my sister, she took legal steps.

By going the path of join tennants, mums property, rental property and bank account balance will transfer to me upon her passing, and are so excluded from the estate…it cant be contested.

Upside…no court case / assets frozen until resolution.
Downside… Mr ATO says, I must legally claim half of the income, and pay tax on it, at my marginal rate.

Even though ALL the money goes to Mum, i dont touch a cent of it, i still have to pay tax, on half the income.

So, probably close to 10k extra, to my own tax bill.

$9.5 k stage 3 tax cut, that would have been nice, i could have just handed it back to the ATO…but no, we’ll keep half of that…

The higher income earners fund so much of the tax income stream, one “high ender” , contributes nearly 5 times the tax of a average person…

And people resent high income earners, for working, studying sacrificing, and getting ahead…

No wonder people leave and work overseas, to get ahead…

Why get raped, and get nothing in return…

Lets put it in perspective…
2022-2023 year.

A earns $66000…pays $11917 tax.

B earns $200 000…pays $60667 tax.

Earn 3 times the money , pay 5 times the tax…!!
Person B is literally paying in tax, what person A earns.!

Lets not forget about medicare surcharge etc…

I am trying to explain to my 21 year old nephew…you NEED to get decent qualifications, and a well paying job… $180k a year is not rich, if you have a mortgage and a family… Dont waste time, get onto it…

i wonder who made those policy changes?

Albanese, went back on his word.

No one cares about “high income earners”, as they perceive, they are vastly wealthy.

Better to tap into tall poppy syndrome, and secure many more votes, at the lower tax brackets.

You are responsible for your own financial future.
Take action to get ahead for yourself. No one else will.

When i went back to Uni, there was a 46 year old mother of two, in my dentistry course. She was working at Kmart, before.

She kicked ass, worked so hard, like it was the fight of her life, got straight HD’s…and now earns 250k+ per year.

Good on her… If she can do it, what stopping others from taking action to better themselves.??

and if so,
why would you dawdle here…??

That’s admirable and I always applaud those that have a red hot crack.

Maybe part the trouble is when they brought gst in it was supposed to get rid of hidden taxes. Except a certain PM didn’t make it so and slapped GST on top, it’s been unchanged for farkin years :man_facepalming: now as the value of the dollar has increased a lot more working people are creeping in to the higher tax bracket and getting stung.

Who’s that posting. I got a few rattle cans of tiger stripe left  you can go to CEH think carls goons have your gimp suit still.

Laws and stuff plus your banned

Body seems unclear. . . .

Have to tell people about laws that I actively break and then ban people who live in states with those laws Edit: this is just some shit posting I mainly wanted to see how good everyone’s memory is.

If she can do it, what stopping others from taking action to better themselves.??

Steadily declining education in Australia, lack of proper support networks, mental disability, there not being enough professional jobs for every person in Australia, cost of living crisis preventing people from being able to afford to go back to school, inability to pay for childcare, lack of employment in an area, shit pay from greedy corporations, etc etc.

There’s a lot of reasons that people can’t pick themselves up by their bootstraps. That’s an American way of looking at things. Australia is about doing what’s right for the average man.

This isn’t a case of tall poppy syndrome, it’s a remedy to a terrible cost of living crisis that many low income Australians are suffering from. The alterations in the tax cuts don’t even stop the rich from receiving a benefit, it’s just less. Meanwhile, it also provides much needed relief to struggling Aussie battlers who can’t even afford to buy groceries for their kids any more.

It’s just the media keep trying to torpedo it, because of course they are, they fucking hate Labor. This is because the media is owned by the corporates, and the elites (all of it, left, right, centrist, whatever) and because journalists are all university educated professionals. Journalists have a financial interest in doing this as a result. Don’t swallow the bait, the tax cuts help way more people in genuine need than they disadvantage.
