Just finally got a response from my FMS GLACIER seller…,… sorry out of stock!
Wasn’t out of stock when you took my money a week ago 
All good though, refunded and have used the coin to order another that’s actually currently on sale and is $10 cheaper delivered than my previous purchase 
Big difference is that the new seller responded straight away with details of the order and will be sending tracking information in the next 24/48 hours at most…,… so here’s hoping that this experience will be a lot smoother than the last couple, but still can’t fault the AliExpress money back guarantee and prompt service 
This is now the 3rd attempt to buy one of these bloody things, so hopefully I’ve got ANOTHER chance to finally getting one! 
Yeah, that’s biten me on the arse before… first and only purchase from AliX.
Luckily just cheap guitar parts which I wrote off and bailed on AliX permanently. They have appeal processes but they don’t make it easy. 
I stick to ebay and Paypal. Never had a problem with them, and once you hand your dispute over to them it’s resolved within a day or two.
I finished my lens mod for my vr headset so that was fun.

I’ve always been wary of any online sites outside of eBay myself.
But have been getting stuff from AliExpress since way back in the Gelbaster building days and luckily never had any issues with disputes or refunds 
Only had two items recently on AliExpress that I cancelled/refunded, where the first one was resolved in less than an hour, and the second was an item that showed that hadn’t been given any processed/shipped information for nearly 2 weeks… but was cancelled/refunded the same day I raised the issue
Maybe it’s just luck that I was dealing with somewhat honest sellers and not one of most likely many scam sellers out there, but I do research each seller before purchasing anything, so maybe that’s the trick to playing it safe, instead of just seeing a price tag and hitting “buy now” .
AliExpress uses Paypal, so you always got that to fall back on as I did when AliExpress claims don’t work.
i say this as an ABC, China’s whole business model is based on scams…and their government is no exception.

Painted in the now not-at-bunnings Dyemark Flat black.
Ripper of a paint, comes out nice and fine, not thick…several coats for a bit of thickness.
Ill put some of the tamiya clear coat on, later…
Looks good, and has gotten rid of the white labelling…

Watching the airliner flight paths over head change a lot because of some people cruising around in boats off my state.
In over 20 years I’ve never seen those routes taken. Higher than norm too pushing 40kft.
