Will need to see if they left a card or something when I get home and get them to redirect and they’re chargong $5.50 per package for it. Fuck off aramex.
Someone is working from home today anyway so they could have got them to sign for it. Christ these people are a pain.
I’d suggest you’d get a better result directing your complaint at Aramax.
Or just accept it’s part of our love affair with online shopping.

like my auspost rant the other day, courier probably pulled up in the driveway, stood beside his car/van/scooter, called out “package” in as soft a voice as possible, then jumped in his vehicle and fucked off.

I received an email back from auspost about my complaint and they were following up with the courier contractor as they are still supposed to drop a card in your letter box or at your door
which they most often do not
The only problem I’m currently fighting is a certain product I purchased and hasn’t been Delivered, even though AusPost and the Tracking from the seller is stating as “Delivered”.
I don’t have any issues with AusPost, apart from the way they repackage several parcels that arrive from overseas into a new single AusPost package and then give that new package a single tracking number without any details of the individual items that have been placed inside it
I quite often have 4 or 5 different parts packages arrive in a single AusPost parcel, which makes plenty of sense to combine several different items that are being delivered to the same address into a single parcel. 
The only problem is that when there’s meant to be 4 items inside a parcel that gets dropped off and marked as “delivered” , then gets opened and found that there’s only 3 items in that package… it’s very difficult to argue that there’s a missing item due to everything in the shipping/tracking stating that you have received your parcel. 
I’m currently having this battle with not only the seller, but also AusPost themselves, trying to prove that “yes, I did receive this package tracking number 12345567 etc, but there was items missing inside and I am trying to find out where they are, or apply for a refund for the missing items.”
AusPost has a picture of the parcel being delivered, the seller has confirmation from AusPost that the parcel has been delivered, but I have no evidence that the parcel was missing items that have been declared “delivered” inside when I opened it. 
It’s only some electronics parts, 4 of totalling less than $20, so no big financial loss… but still frustrating that I never received these items and its put a stop to further modifications on my crawlers along with being reluctant to order replacements in case these missing parts do actually find their way in the next couple of weeks. 
Depends if it has to be signed for or not. Check that before check out. If no one is there to sign for they legally can not leave it. In my area they will always drop it to the nearest post office for collection with a phone and email notification.
Make sure it’s checked to leave in safe place if you can’t be there. They will stuff it in your post box or front door step.
Couriers though… you get nothing 
In your case you have to claim back on the seller and I hope you used Paypal.
I had trouble as you know, Auspost can only deliver what they get. I’m not arguing they are the best on the planet but usually it’s something gone wrong between there and here.
You know the saying where’d that come from, oh fell off the back of truck. That happens too with light fingered workers.
Cheers mate, yeah random electronics parts that aren’t worth anything to anyone in the “light fingered” department, so wasn’t too concerned.
Last feedback was that they have been delayed and are actually “still in transit”, hence why not wanting to order any more until a bit of time has passed to see if they actually show up.
